21 – Parashat Ki Tisa (כִּי תִשָּׂא) — “When You Take” – August 17th thru August 23rd

Shemoth (Exodus) 30:11– 34:35

Shemoth (Exodus) 30:11-38

  • 11. And Yahuah spake unto Mosheh, saying,
  • 12. When thou takest את the sum of the children of Yashar’el after their number, then shall they give every man a ransom for his soul unto Yahuah, when thou numberest them; that there be no plague among them, when thou numberest them.
  • 13. This they shall give, every one that passeth among them that are numbered, half a shekel after the shekel of the sanctuary: (a shekel is twenty gerahs:) an half shekel shall be the offering of Yahuah.
  • 14. Every one that passeth among them that are numbered, from twenty years old and above, shall give an offering unto Yahuah.
  • 15. The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel, when they give an offering unto Yahuah, to make an atonement for your souls.
  • 16 And thou shalt take the atonement money of the children of Yashar’el, and shalt appoint it for the service of the tabernacle of the assembly; that it may be a memorial unto the children of Yashar’el before Yahuah, to make an atonement for your souls.
  • 17. And Yahuah spake unto Mosheh, saying,
  • 18. Thou shalt also make a laver of brass, and his foot also of brass, to wash withal: and thou shalt put it between the tabernacle of the assembly and the altar, and thou shalt put water therein.
  • 19. For Aharon and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet thereat:
  • 20. When they go into the tabernacle of the assembly, they shall wash with water, that they die not; or when they come near to the altar to minister, to burn offering made by fire unto Yahuah:
  • 21. So they shall wash their hands and their feet, that they die not: and it shall be a statute for ever to them, even to him and to his seed throughout their generations.
  • 22. Moreover Yahuah spake unto Mosheh, saying,
  • 23. Take thou also unto thee principal spices, of pure myrrh five hundred shekels, and of sweet cinnamon half so much, even two hundred and fifty shekels, and of sweet calamus two hundred and fifty shekels,
  • 24. And of cassia five hundred shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, and of oil olive an hin:
  • 25. And thou shalt make it an oil of set-apart ointment, an ointment compound after the art of the apothecary: it shall be a set-apart anointing oil.
  • 26. And thou shalt anoint the tabernacle of the assembly therewith, and the Ark of the Testimony,
  • 27. And the table and all his vessels, and the candlestick and his vessels, and the altar of incense,
  • 28. And the altar of burnt offering with all his vessels, and the laver and his foot.
  • 29. And thou shalt sanctify them, that they may be most set-apart: whatsoever toucheth them shall be set-apart.
  • 30. And thou shalt anoint Aharon and his sons, and consecrate them, that they may minister unto Me in the priest’s office.
  • 31. And thou shalt speak unto the children of Yashar’el, saying, This shall be a set-apart anointing oil unto me throughout your generations.
  • 32. Upon man’s flesh shall it not be poured, neither shall ye make any other like it, after the composition of it: it is set-apart, and it shall be set-apart unto you.
  • 33. Whosoever compoundeth any like it, or whosoever putteth any of it upon a stranger, shall even be cut off from his people.
  • 34. And Yahuah said unto Mosheh, Take unto thee sweet spices, stacte, and onycha, and galbanum; these sweet spices with pure frankincense: of each shall there be a like weight:
  • 35. And thou shalt make it a perfume, a confection after the art of the apothecary, tempered together, pure and set-apart:
  • 36. And thou shalt beat some of it very small, and put of it before the testimony in the tabernacle of the assembly, where I will meet with thee: it shall be unto you most set-apart.
  • 37. And as for the perfume which thou shalt make, ye shall not make to yourselves according to the composition thereof: it shall be unto thee set-apart for Yahuah.
  • 38. Whosoever shall make like unto that, to smell thereto, shall even be cut off from his people.

Shemoth (Exodus) 31

  1. And Yahuah spake unto Mosheh, saying,
  2. See, I have called by name Betsal’el the son of Uriy, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Yahudah:
  3. And I have filled him with the Ruach Elohiym, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,
  4. To devise cunning works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,
  5. And in cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship.
  6. And I, behold, I have given with him את Aholiy’av, the son of Achiycamak, of the tribe of Dan: and in the hearts of all that are wise hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make את all that I have commanded thee;
  7. את The tabernacle of the assembly, and the Ark of the Testimony, and the mercy seat that is thereupon, and all the furniture of the tabernacle,
  8. And the table and his furniture, and the pure menorah with all his furniture, and את the altar of incense,
  9. And the altar of burnt offering with all his furniture, and the laver and his foot,
  10. And את the cloths of service, and the set-apart garments for Aharon the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest’s office,
  11. And את the anointing oil, and sweet incense for the set-apart place: according to all that I have commanded thee shall they do.
  12. And Yahuah spake unto Mosheh, saying,
  13. Speak thou also unto the children of Yashar’el, saying, Truly My Shabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am Yahuah Meqoddishkem (that doth sanctify you).
  14. Ye shall keep the Shabbath therefore; for it is set-apart unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
  15. Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the Shabbath of rest, set-apart to Yahuah: whosoever doeth any work in the Shabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.
  16. Wherefore the children of Yashar’el shall keep the Shabbath, to observe the Shabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.
  17. It is a sign between me and the children of Yashar’el for ever: for in six days Yahuah made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day He rested, and was refreshed.
  18. And He gave unto Mosheh, when He had made an end of communing with him upon Mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of Elohiym.

Shemoth (Exodus) 32

  1. And when the people saw that Mosheh delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aharon, and said unto him, Up, make us elohiym, which shall go before us; for as for this Mosheh, the man that brought us up out of the land of Mitsrayim, we wot not what is become of him.
  2. And Aharon said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me.
  3. And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aharon.
  4. And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be Elohayka, O Yashar’el, which brought thee up out of the land of Mitsrayim.
  5. And when Aharon saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aharon made proclamation, and said, To morrow is a feast to Yahuah.
  6. And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.
  7. And Yahuah said unto Mosheh, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Mitsrayim, have corrupted themselves:
  8. They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be Elohayka, O Yashar’el, which have brought thee up out of the land of Mitsrayim.
  9. And Yahuah said unto Mosheh, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people:
  10. Now therefore let Me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation.
  11. And Mosheh besought Yahuah Elohayu, and said, Yahuah, why doth Thy wrath wax hot against Thy people, which Thou hast brought forth out of the land of Mitsrayim with great power, and with a mighty hand?
  12. Wherefore should the Mitsriym speak, and say, For mischief did He bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from Thy fierce wrath, and turn away from (repent of) this evil against Thy people.
  13. Remember Avraham, Yitschaq, and Yashar’el, Thy servants, to whom Thou swarest by Thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit it for ever.
  14. And Yahuah turned away from (repented of) the evil which He thought to do unto His people.
  15. And Mosheh turned, and went down from the mount, and the two tables of the testimony were in his hand: the tables were written on both their sides; on the one side and on the other were they written.
  16. And the tables were the work of Elohiym, and the writing was the writing of Elohiym, graven upon the tables.
  17. And when Yahusha heard the noise of the people as they shouted, he said unto Mosheh, There is a noise of war in the camp.
  18. And he said, It is not the voice of them that shout for mastery, neither is it the voice of them that cry for being overcome: but the noise of them that sing do I hear.
  19. And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Mosheh’ anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount.
  20. And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and strawed it upon the water, and made the children of Yashar’el drink of it.
  21. And Mosheh said unto Aharon, What did this people unto thee, that thou hast brought so great a sin upon them?
  22. And Aharon said, Let not the anger of my adoniy wax hot: thou knowest the people, that they are set on mischief.
  23. For they said unto me, Make us elohiym, which shall go before us: for as for this Mosheh, the man that brought us up out of the land of Mitsrayim, we wot not what is become of him.
  24. And I said unto them, Whosoever hath any gold, let them break it off. So they gave it me: then I cast it into the fire, and there came out this calf.
  25. And when Mosheh saw that the people were naked; (for Aharon had made them naked unto their shame among their enemies:)
  26. Then Mosheh stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on Yahuah’s side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Leviy gathered themselves together unto him.
  27. And he said unto them, Thus saith Yahuah Elohai of Yashar’el, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour.
  28. And the children of Leviy did according to the word of Mosheh: and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men.
  29. For Mosheh had said, Consecrate yourselves today to Yahuah, even every man upon his son, and upon his brother; that He may bestow upon you a blessing this day.
  30. And it came to pass on the morrow, that Mosheh said unto the people, Ye have sinned a great sin: and now I will go up unto Yahuah; peradventure I shall make an atonement for your sin.
  31. And Mosheh returned unto Yahuah, and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them elohiym of gold.
  32. Yet now, if Thou wilt forgive their sin; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of Thy book which Thou hast written.
  33. And Yahuah said unto Mosheh, Whosoever hath sinned against Me, him will I blot out of My book.
  34. Therefore now go, lead the people unto the place of which I have spoken unto thee: behold, Mine Angel shall go before thee: nevertheless in the day when I visit I will visit their sin upon them.
  35. And Yahuah plagued the people, because they made the calf, which Aharon made.

Shemoth (Exodus) 33

  1. And Yahuah said unto Mosheh, Depart, and go up hence, thou and the people which thou hast brought up out of the land of Mitsrayim, unto the land which I sware unto Avraham, to Yitschaq, and to Ya’aqov, saying, Unto thy seed will I give it:
  2. And I will send an angel before thee; and I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite:
  3. Unto a land flowing with milk and honey: for I will not go up in the midst of thee; for thou art a stiffnecked people: lest I consume thee in the way.
  4. And when the people heard these evil tidings, they mourned: and no man did put on him his ornaments.
  5. For Yahuah had said unto Mosheh, Say unto the children of Yashar’el, Ye are a stiffnecked people: I will come up into the midst of thee in a moment, and consume thee: therefore now put off thy ornaments from thee, that I may know what to do unto thee.
  6. And the children of Yashar’el stripped themselves of their ornaments by the Mount Horev.
  7. And Mosheh took the tabernacle, and pitched it without the camp, afar off from the camp, and called it the Tent of Meeting. And it came to pass, that every one which sought Yahuah went out unto the tabernacle of the assembly (tent of meeting), which was without the camp.
  8. And it came to pass, when Mosheh went out unto the tabernacle, that all the people rose up, and stood every man at his tent door, and looked after Mosheh, until he was gone into the tabernacle.
  9. And it came to pass, as Mosheh entered into the tabernacle, the cloudy pillar descended, and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the Yahuah talked with Mosheh.
  10. And all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door: and all the people rose up and worshipped, every man in his tent door.
  11. And Yahuah spake unto Mosheh face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Yahusha, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle.
  12. And Mosheh said unto Yahuah, See, Thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and Thou hast not let me know whom Thou wilt send with me. Yet Thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in My sight.
  13. Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in Thy sight, shew me now Thy Way, that I may know Thee, that I may find grace in Thy sight: and consider that this nation is Thy people.
  14. And He said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.
  15. And he said unto him, If Thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.
  16. For wherein shall it be known here that I and Thy people have found grace in Thy sight? is it not in that Thou goest with us? so shall we be separated, I and Thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.
  17. And Yahuah said unto Mosheh, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in My sight, and I know thee by name.
  18. And he said, I beseech Thee, shew me Thy glory.
  19. And He said, I will make all My goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of Yahuah before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.
  20. And He said, Thou canst not see My face: for there shall no man see Me, and live.
  21. And Yahuah said, Behold, there is a place by Me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock:
  22. And it shall come to pass, while My glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with My hand while I pass by:
  23. And I will take away Mine hand, and thou shalt see My back parts: but My face shall not be seen.

Shemoth (Exodus) 34

  1. And Yahuah said unto Mosheh, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first: and I will write upon these tables the words that were in the first tables, which thou brakest.
  2. And be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning unto Mount Sinai, and present thyself there to Me in the top of the mount.
  3. And no man shall come up with thee, neither let any man be seen throughout all the mount; neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mount.
  4. And he hewed two tables of stone like unto the first; and Mosheh rose up early in the morning, and went up unto Mount Sinai, as Yahuah had commanded him, and took in his hand the two tables of stone.
  5. And Yahuah descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of Yahuah.
  6. And Yahuah passed by before him, and proclaimed, Yahuah, Yahuah El, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,
  7. Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.
  8. And Mosheh made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped.
  9. And he said, If now I have found grace in thy sight, O Adonai, let my Adonai, I pray Thee, go among us; for it is a stiffnecked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for Thine inheritance.
  10. And He said, Behold, I cut a covenant: before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which thou art shall see the work of Yahuah: for it is a terrible thing that I will do with thee.
  11. Observe thou that which I command thee this day: behold, I drive out before thee the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite.
  12. Take heed to thyself, lest thou cut a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee:
  13. But ye shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves:
  14. For thou shalt worship no other elohiym: for Yahuah Qanna (is Jealous), is a jealous El:
  15. Lest thou cut a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their elohiym, and do sacrifice unto their elohiym, and one call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice;
  16. And thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters go a whoring after their elohiym, and make thy sons go a whoring after their elohiym.
  17. Thou shalt make thee no molten elohiym.
  18. The Feast of Matstsah shalt thou keep. Seven days thou shalt eat matstsah, as I commanded thee, in the time of the month Aviv: for in the month Aviv thou camest out from Mitsrayim.
  19. All that openeth the matrix is Mine; and every firstling among thy cattle, whether ox or sheep, that is male.
  20. But the firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb: and if thou redeem him not, then shalt thou break his neck. All the firstborn of thy sons thou shalt redeem. And none shall appear before Me empty.
  21. Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest: in earing time and in harvest thou shalt rest.
  22. And thou shalt observe the Feast of Qatsiyr (weeks), of the firstfruits of wheat harvest, and the Feast of Aciyph (Ingathering) at the year’s end.
  23. Thrice in the year shall all your men children appear before Adonai Yahuah, the Elohai of Yashar’el.
  24. For I will cast out the nations before thee, and enlarge thy borders: neither shall any man desire thy land, when thou shalt go up to appear before Yahuah Elohayka thrice in the year.
  25. Thou shalt not offer the blood of My sacrifice with leaven; neither shall the sacrifice of the Feast of the Pasach (passover) be left unto the morning.
  26. The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring unto the house of Yahuah Elohayka. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother’s milk.
  27. And Yahuah said unto Mosheh, Write thou these words: for after the tenor of these words I have cut a covenant with thee and with Yashar’el.
  28. And he was there with Yahuah forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And He wrote upon the tables את the words of the covenant, the Ten Devariym (Words or Commandments).
  29. And it came to pass, when Mosheh came down from Mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Mosheh’ hand, when he came down from the mount, that Mosheh wist not that the skin of his face shone while He talked with him.
  30. And when Aharon and all the children of Yashar’el saw Mosheh, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come nigh him.
  31. And Mosheh called unto them; and Aharon and all the rulers of the assembly returned unto him: and Mosheh talked with them.
  32. And afterward all the children of Yashar’el came nigh: and he gave them in commandment את all that Yahuah had spoken with him in Mount Sinai.
  33. And till Mosheh had done speaking with them, he put a vail on his face.
  34. But when Mosheh went in before Yahuah to speak with Him, he took the vail off, until he came out. And he came out, and spake unto the children of Yashar’el that which he was commanded.
  35. And the children of Yashar’el saw the face of Mosheh, that the skin of Mosheh’ face shone: and Mosheh put the vail upon his face again, until he went in to speak with Him.

Haftarah Tetzaveh (תְּצַוֶּ֣ה) — Ki Tisa (כִּי תִשָּׂא) — “When You Take” – August 17th thru August 23rd

Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 31:33-37 ; Yechezq’el (Ezekiel) 36:22-38

Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 31:33-37

  • 31. Behold, the days come, saith Yahuah, that I will cut a new covenant with the house of Yashar’el, and with the house of Yahudah:
  • 32. Not according to the covenant that I cut with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Mitsrayim; which My covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith Yahuah:
  • 33. But this shall be the covenant that I will cut with the house of Yashar’el; After those days, saith Yahuah, I will put My Torah in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their Elohiym, and they shall be My people.
  • 34. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know Yahuah: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith Yahuah: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
  • 35. Thus saith Yahuah, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; Yahuah Tseva’oth is His name:
  • 36. If those ordinances depart from before Me, saith Yahuah, then the seed of Yashar’el also shall cease from being a nation before Me for ever.
  • 37. Thus saith Yahuah; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Yashar’el for all that they have done, saith Yahuah.

Yechezq’el (Ezekiel) 36:22-38

  • 22. Therefore say unto the house of Yashar’el, thus saith the Adonai Yahuah; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Yashar’el, but for Mine set-apart name’s sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.
  • 23. And I will sanctify My great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am Yahuah, saith Adonai Yahuah, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.
  • 24. For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.
  • 25. Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
  • 26. A new heart also will I give you, and a new ruach will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
  • 27. And I will put My Ruach within you, and cause you to walk in My statutes, and ye shall keep My judgments, and do them.
  • 28. And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be My people, and I will be your Elohiym.
  • 29. I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you.
  • 30. And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen.
  • 31. Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.
  • 32. Not for your sakes do I this, saith Adonai Yahuah, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Yashar’el.
  • 33. Thus saith Adonai Yahuah; In the day that I shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded.
  • 34. And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by.
  • 35. And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited.
  • 36. Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I Yahuah build the ruined places, and plant that that was desolate: I Yahuah have spoken it, and I will do it.
  • 37. Thus saith Adonai Yahuah; I will yet for this be enquired of by the house of Yashar’el, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock.
  • 38. As the set-apart flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts; so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men: and they shall know that I am Yahuah.

Brit Ha’Dasha – Ki Tisa (כִּי תִשָּׂא) — “When You Take” – August 17th thru August 23rd

1st Qorintiym (Corinthians) 3:1-18 ; Ivriym (Hebrews) 8:6-13

1st Qorintiym (Corinthians) 3:1-18

  1. Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you?
  2. Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:
  3. Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Mashiach ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Ruach of the living Elohiym; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.
  4. And such trust have we through Mashiach toward Elohiym:
  5. Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of Elohiym;
  6. Who also hath made us able ministers of the renewed covenant; not of the letter, but of the Ruach: for the letter killeth, but the Ruach giveth life.
  7. But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Yashar’el could not stedfastly behold the face of Mosheh for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:
  8. How shall not the ministration of the ruach be rather glorious?
  9. For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.
  10. For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth.
  11. For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious.
  12. Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:
  13. And not as Mosheh, which put a veil over his face, that the children of Yashar’el could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:
  14. But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old covenant; which vail is done away in Mashiach.
  15. But even unto this day, when Mosheh is read, the vail is upon their heart.
  16. Nevertheless when it shall turn to Yahuah, the vail shall be taken away.
  17. Now Yahuah is that ruach: and where the ruach of Yahuah is, there is liberty.
  18. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of Yahuah, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the ruach of Yahuah.

Ivriym (Hebrews) 8:6-13

  • 6. But now hath He obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also He is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
  • 7. For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.
  • 8. For finding fault with them, He saith, Behold, the days come, saith Yahuah, when I will cut a renewed covenant with the house of Yashar’el and with the house of Yahudah:
  • 9. Not according to the covenant that I cut with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Mitsrayim; because they continued not in My covenant, and I regarded them not, saith Yahuah.
  • 10. For this is the covenant that I will cut with the house of Yashar’el after those days, saith Yahuah; I will put my Torah into their mind, and write it in their hearts: and I will be to them an Elohiym, and they shall be to Me a people:
  • 11. And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know Yahuah: for all shall know Me, from the least to the greatest.
  • 12. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
  • 13. In that He saith: new, He hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.
