The Torah is more than a historical record—it is Yahuah’s instructions for life, the eternal covenant He made with His chosen people (Yashar’el), and His plan of redemption and salvation through His Son Yahusha Ha’Mashiach. This page will offer Torah portions, arranged week by week, to help you walk in alignment with Yahuah’s Word.
Each portion includes the Torah, Haftarah (Prophets), and Brit Ha’dasha (New Testament) readings, with guided reflections, character insights, and Hebraic word studies to deepen your understanding. Whether you’re studying alone or with a small group, these weekly portions are designed to help you grow in faith, obedience, and the knowledge of Yahuah’s eternal plan of Salvation through His Son Yahusha Ha’Mashiach.
The Torah portions cycle I use starts with the beginning of Yahuah’s year (Aviyv 1st) and not the beginning of the Jewish Civil Year also known as Rosh Hashanah. We try to do everything according to the Appointed Times listed in the Hebrew Scriptures and the year is said to start on Aviyv 1st and therefore we start our Torah Portions at this time.
All Torah Portions from this year, except Parsha 1, will be reposted this week only as we finish this year up before we start Yahuah’s New Year. After they are removed, only the new portions will be shown and the old will be updated.
The Torah Portion Study Guide
for the Upcoming Year
This year’s Torah portion study will focus on revealing that Yahusha Ha’Mashiach is the center of the Torah from the beginning, not added later, but present as the Word of Elohiym through whom all things were created. From Bere’shiyth (In the Beginning), we see that creation itself was brought forth by the Word of Elohiym, establishing that all of the Scriptures testify of Him as the foundation, the head (ro’sh), and the purpose of all things. Through the Torah, the Prophets, and the Brit Ha’dasha, we will trace this unbroken witness that Yahusha Ha’Mashiach is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and the only path back to Father Yahuah.
This study year will also emphasize that to love Yahuah is to walk in obedience to all of His commandments, not selectively, but as a complete expression of covenant faithfulness. The first commandment given to mankind—to be fruitful—reveals that Yahuah’s desire has always been for His creation to bear righteous fruit through obedience. As revealed through Mashiach Yahusha, the True Vine, we learn that apart from Him we can do nothing, and that all good fruit is produced through abiding in Him. Fruitful disobedience, as seen through A’dam and Chuah, leads to corruption, sin, and death, while fruitful obedience, as seen through Yahusha Ha’Mashiach, leads to life, blessing, and restoration.
Beginning with Parsha Bere’shiyth, we will explore the contrast between fruitfulness for Yahuah and fruitfulness for the enemy, the entrance of sin through disobedience, and the promise of redemption through the seed that would overcome the adversary. This portion lays the foundation for understanding the entire plan of salvation: that through Yahusha Ha’Mashiach, and through obedience to Father Yahuah, mankind is given the opportunity to return to the Tree of Life. As we walk through each portion this year, the call remains the same—to choose obedience, to bear good fruit, and to walk in The Way established from the beginning.
Each week, a daily reading will be provided for the upcoming portion to help you walk daily in the Word and in Truth. Consider setting aside a tithe of your time—about five percent of your day, roughly one hour—to give back to Father Yahuah in focused study, reflection, and prayer. Just as we are called to honor Him with our increase, so also should we honor Him with our time, offering Him the first and best of our attention. Through this daily commitment, you will deepen your personal relationship with Him, increase your understanding of His beautiful Word, strengthen your obedience, and grow in bearing good fruit through Yahusha Ha’Mashiach as you continue your journey.
As we sojourn in this present world, we are called to walk as strangers and pilgrims, seeking a better country—one established by Yahuah from the beginning. This journey through the Torah portions is an invitation to draw nearer to Him, to grow in understanding, and to be transformed through obedience to His Word. Come and walk this path together, as we seek to bear good fruit, to abide in Yahusha Ha’Mashiach, and to prepare our hearts for the restoration that Yahuah has promised from Bere’shiyth.

Why I Study the Weekly Torah Portions
While there is no direct scriptural command to divide the Torah into weekly portions, the practice of reading, studying and reflecting on the Torah regularly is rooted in Yahuah’s instructions. We are commanded to teach His Word diligently to our children, speak of it when we sit in our homes, walk by the way, lie down, and rise up (Devariym [Deuteronomy] 6:6–7).
Yahusha Ha’Mashiach Himself honored this rhythm of study. As recorded in Luqas (Luke) 4:16, He stood up to read in the synagogue on the Sabbath day—participating in the public reading of the Scriptures, which at the time followed a set cycle of Torah and prophet portions.
The weekly Torah portion is not commanded as a structure, but it is a valuable tool. It invites us into a consistent walk with Yahuah’s Word, encourages remembrance, and trains our hearts in obedience and belief through Yahusha Ha’Mashiach.
Torah, Haftarah and Brit Ha’Dasha portions taken from several sites and are combined by careful study and the Ruach Ha’Qodesh to create the portions found on this site on the dates they are listed. The sites we use are: First Fruits of Zion, Hebrew 4 Christians and Wikipedia.
