Main Themes & Commandments

Judgment and Salvation Through Obedience

Yahuah brings judgment upon the earth because of widespread wickedness, yet provides a way of salvation through obedience.
Bere’shiyth 6:22 – “Thus did Noach; according to all that Elohiym commanded him, so did he.”
Mattithyahu 24:37 – “But as the days of Noach were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”
Kepha Aleph 3:20 – “Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of Elohiym waited in the days of Noach, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.”
**Salvation was available, but only those who obeyed Yahuah entered the ark. In the same way, Yahusha Ha’Mashiach is the Ark of salvation today and only those who are obedient and enter in will obtain yeshu’ah.

The Eternal Covenant and Mercy of Yahuah

After the judgment and wrath of Yahuah, He formalizes His eternal covenant of grace and mercy with Noach and his sons by giving them a token that can be still seen today, Yahuah Elohiym’s bow in the clouds, letting us know that He still honours His eternal covenant with mankind and the earth.
Bere’shiyth 9:13 “אֶת My bow I do set in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between Me and the earth.”
Yesha’yahu 54:9-10“For this is as the waters of Noach unto Me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noach should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee. For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but My kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of My peace be removed, saith Yahuah that hath mercy on thee.”
**Yahuah’s judgment and wrath are real, but His mercy and covenant are everlasting for those who walk in the way of obedience with His Son Yahusha Ha’Mashiach. Are you striving for Yahuah’s grace and mercy or are you storing up wrath unto the day of judgment?

Be Fruitful – The First Commandment Repeated to Noach

Elohiym blesses Noach and his sons and then repeats the first commandment to be fruitful to them. In only ten generations, mankind had corrupted their way so much by being unfruitful for Yahuah and being fruitful for the enemy that He had to destroy them for their rebellion against Him.
Bere’shiyth (Genesis) 9:1 –“And Elohiym blessed אֶת Noach and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish אֶת the earth.”
Devariym (Deuteronomy) 28:1 & 4 – “And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of Yahuah Elohayka, to observe and to do all His commandments which I command thee this day, that Yahuah Elohayka will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: & 4. “Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.”
Mishlei (Proverbs) 11:30 – “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.”
**The command to be fruitful once again is not talking about physical human reproduction but it is talking about bearing fruit through obedience to Yahuah’s commandments. The blessings of multiplying (bearing the physical fruit of offspring) is tied directly to being fruitful through obedience to Yahuah’s commandments.

Rebellion after Salvation – The Tower of Babel

Even after deliverance, mankind returns to rebellion and builds a city and a tower to try and make war against Yahuah so they won’t be destroyed like the civilizations before the flood but their rebellion is futile.
Bere’shiyth (Genesis) 11:4 – “And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.”
Tehilliym (Psalms) 2:1-4 –“Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against Yahuah, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: Yahuah shall have them in derision.”
**Without continued obedience, mankind quickly returns to pride and self-exaltation—seeking to replace Yahuah rather than submit to Him.
