03 – Parashat Lekh Lekha (לך־לך) — “Get Thee Out”– Aviyv 16th thru Aviyv 22nd

April 5th thru April 11th, 2026

Bere’shiyth (Genesis) 12:1–20 thru 17:27

Bere’shiyth (Genesis) 12

  1. Now Yahuah had said unto Avram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
  2. And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
  3. And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
  4. So Avram departed, as Yahuah had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Avram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.
  5. And Avram took אֶת Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother’s son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Kena’an; and into the land of Kena’an they came.
  6. And Avram passed through the land unto the place of Shekem, unto the plain of Moreh. And the Kena’aniy was then in the land.
  7. And Yahuah appeared אֶת unto Avram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto Yahuah, who appeared unto him.
  8. And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Beyt-El, and pitched his tent, having Beyt-El on the west, and Ai on the east: and there he builded an altar unto Yahuah, and called upon the name of Yahuah.
  9. And Avram journeyed, going on still toward the south.
  10. And there was a famine in the land: and Avram went down into Mitsrayim to sojourn there; for the famine was grievous in the land.
  11. And it came to pass, when he was come near to enter into Mitsrayim, that he said unto Sarai his wife, Behold now, I know that thou art a fair woman to look upon:
  12. Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Mitsriym shall see thee, that they shall say, This is his wife: and they will kill me, but they will save thee alive.
  13. Say, I pray thee, thou art my sister: that it may be well with me for thy sake; and my soul shall live because of thee.
  14. And it came to pass, that, when Avram was come into Mitsrayim, the Mitsriym beheld אֶת the woman that she was very fair.
  15. The princes also of Pharaoh saw her, and commended her before Pharaoh: and the woman was taken into Pharaoh’s house.
  16. And he entreated Avram well for her sake: and he had sheep, and oxen, and he asses, and menservants, and maidservants, and she asses, and camels.
  17. And Yahuah plagued אֶת Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai Avram’s wife.
  18. And Pharaoh called Avram and said, What is this that thou hast done unto me? why didst thou not tell me that she was thy wife?
  19. Why saidst thou, She is my sister? so I might have taken her to me to wife: now therefore behold thy wife, take her, and go thy way.
  20. And Pharaoh commanded his men concerning him: and they sent him away, and his wife, and all that he had.

Bere’shiyth (Genesis) 13

  1. And Avram went up out of Mitsrayim, he, and his wife, and all that he had, and Lot with him, into the south.
  2. And Avram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold.
  3. And he went on his journeys from the south even to Beyt-El, unto the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Beyt-El and Ai;
  4. Unto the place of the altar, which he had make there at the first: and there Avram called on the name of Yahuah.
  5. And Lot also, which went with Avram, had flocks, and herds, and tents.
  6. And the land was not able to bear them, that they might dwell together: for their substance was great, so that they could not dwell together.
  7. And there was a strife between the herdmen of Avram’s cattle and the herdmen of Lot’s cattle: and the Kena’aniy and the Perriziy dwelled then in the land.
  8. And Avram said unto Lot, Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thee, and between my herdmen and thy herdmen; for we be brethren.
  9. Is not the whole land before thee? separate thyself, I pray thee, from me: if thou wilt take the left hand, then I will go to the right; or if thou depart to the right hand, then I will go to the left.
  10. And Lot lifted up אֶת his eyes, and beheld אֶת all the plain of Yardan, that it was well watered every where, before Yahuah destroyedאֶת Sedom (Sodom) and Amorah (Gomorrah), even as the garden of Yahuah, like the land of Mitsrayim, as thou comest unto Tso’ar.
  11. Then Lot chose him אֶת all the plain of Yardan; and Lot journeyed east: and they separated themselves the one from the other.
  12. Avram dwelled in the land of Kena’an, and Lot dwelled in the cities of the plain, and pitched his tent toward Sedom.
  13. But the men of Sedom were wicked and sinners before Yahuah exceedingly.
  14. And Yahuah said unto Avram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:
  15. For אֶת all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.
  16. And I will make אֶֽת thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number אֶת the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered.
  17. Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee.
  18. Then Avram removed his tent, and came and dwelt in the plain of Mamre, which is in Chevron, and built there an altar unto Yahuah.

Bere’shiyth (Genesis) 14

  1. And it came to pass in the days of Amraphel king of Shin’ar, Aryok king of Ellasar, Kedorla’omer king of Eylam, and Tid’al king of Nations;
  2. That these made war with Bera king of Sedom, and with Birsha king of Amorah, Shin’av king of Admah, and Shem’eber king of Tseviyiym, and the king of Bela, which is Tso’ar.
  3. All these were joined together in the vale of Siddim, which is the Salt Sea.
  4. Twelve years they served אֶת Kedorla’omer, and in the thirteenth year they rebelled.
  5. And in the fourteenth year came Kedorla’omer, and the kings that were with him, and smote אֶת the Repha’iym in Ashteroth Qarnayim, and the Zuziym in Cham, and the Emiym in Shaveh Qiyryathayim,
  6. And the Choriym in their Mount Se’iyr, unto Eyl Pa’ran, which is by the wilderness.
  7. And they returned, and came to Eyn Mishpat, which is Qadesh, and smote אֶת all the country of the Amaleqiym, and also the Emoriym, that dwelt in Chatstson Tamar.
  8. And there went out the king of Sedom, and the king of Amorah, and the king of Admah, and the king of Tseviyiym, and the king of Bela (the same is Tso’ar;) and they joined battle with them in the vale of Siddiym;
  9. With Kedorla’omer the king of Eylam, and with Tid’al king of Nations, and Amraphel king of Shin’ar, and Aryok king of Ellasar; four kings with five.
  10. And the vale of Siddiym was full of slimepits; and the kings of Sedom and Amorah fled, and fell there; and they that remained fled to the mountain.
  11. And they took אֶת all the goods of Sedom and Amorah, and all their victuals, and went their way.
  12. And they took אֶת Lot, Avram’s brother’s son, who dwelt in Sedom, and his goods, and departed.
  13. And there came one that had escaped, and told Avram the Ivriy (Hebrew); for he dwelt in the plain of Mamre the Emoriy, brother of Eshkol, and brother of Aner: and these were confederate with Avram.
  14. And when Avram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed אֶת his trained servants, born in his own house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued them unto Dan.
  15. And he divided himself against them, he and his servants, by night, and smote them, and pursued them unto Chovah, which is on the left hand of Damascus.
  16. And he brought back all אֶת the goods, and also brought again his brother אֶת Lot, and his goods, and אֶת the women also, and אֶת the people.
  17. And the king of Sedom went out to meet him after his return from the slaughter אֶת of Kedorla’omer, and of the kings that were with him, at the valley of Shaveh, which is the king’s dale.
  18. And Malkiy-Tsedeq (Melchizedek) king of Shalem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of El Elyon.
  19. And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Avram of El Elyon, possessor of heaven and earth:
  20. And blessed be El Elyon, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.
  21. And the king of Sedom said unto Avram, Give me the persons, and take the goods to thyself.
  22. And Avram said to the king of Sedom, I have lift up mine hand unto Yahuah, El Elyon, the possessor of heaven and earth,
  23. That I will not take from a thread even to a shoelatchet, and that I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made אֶת Avram rich:
  24. Save only that which the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men which went with me, Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take their portion.

Bere’shiyth (Genesis) 15

  1. After these things the Word of Yahuah came unto El-Avram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Avram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.
  2. And Avram said, Adonai Yahuah, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliy’ezer of Damascus?
  3. And Avram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir.
  4. And, behold, the Word of Yahuah came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.
  5. And He brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and He said unto him, So shall thy seed be.
  6. And he believed in Yahuah; and He counted it to him for righteousness.
  7. And He said unto him, I am Yahuah that brought thee out of Ur of the Kasdiym, to give thee אֶת this land to inherit it.
  8. And he said, Adonai Yahuah, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it?
  9. And He said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.
  10. And he took unto him אֶת all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not.
  11. And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, Avram drove them away.
  12. And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Avram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him.
  13. And He said unto Avram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;
  14. And אֶת also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.
  15. And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age.
  16. But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Emoriym is not yet full.
  17. And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces.
  18. In the same day Yahuah made a covenant with Avram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given אֶת this land, from the river of Mitsrayim unto the great river, the river Perath (Euphrates):
  19. אֶת The Qeyniym, and the Qeynizziym, and the Qadmoniym,
  20. And the Chittiym, and the Perizziym, and the Repha’iym,
  21. And the Emoriym, and the Kena’aniym, and the Girgashiym, and the Yevuciym.

Bere’shiyth (Genesis) 16

  1. Now Sarai Avram’s wife bare him no children: and she had an handmaid, an Mitsriy, whose name was Ha’ger.
  2. And Sarai said unto El-Avram, Behold now, Yahuah hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Avram hearkened to the voice of Sarai.
  3. And Sarai Avram’s wife took אֶת Ha’ger her maid the Mitsriy, after Avram had dwelt ten years in the land of Kena’an, and gave her to her husband Avram to be his wife.
  4. And he went in unto Ha’ger, and she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes.
  5. And Sarai said unto El-Avram, My wrong be upon thee: I have given my maid into thy bosom; and when she saw that she had conceived, I was despised in her eyes: Yahuah judge between me and thee.
  6. But Avram said unto El-Sarai, Behold, thy maid is in thine hand; do to her as it pleaseth thee. And when Sarai dealt hardly with her, she fled from her face.
  7. And the Angel of Yahuah found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur.
  8. And He said, Ha’ger, Sarai’s maid, whence camest thou? and whither wilt thou go? And she said, I flee from the face of my mistress Sarai.
  9. And the Angel of Yahuah said unto her, Return to thy mistress, and submit thyself under her hands.
  10. And the Angel of Yahuah said unto her, I will multiply אֶת thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude.
  11. And the Angel of Yahuah said unto her, Behold, thou art with child and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Yishma’el; because Yahuah hath heard thy affliction.
  12. And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.
  13. And she called the name of Yahuah that spake unto her, El Ro’iy (Thou Elohiym seest me): for she said, Have I also here looked after Him that seeth me?
  14. Wherefore the well was called Be’er La-Chai Ro’iy; behold, it is between Qadesh and Bered.
  15. And Ha’ger bare Avram a son: and Avram called his son’s name, which Ha’ger bare, אֶת Yishma’el.
  16. And Avram was fourscore and six years old, when Ha’ger bare Yishma’el to Avram.

Bere’shiyth (Genesis) 17

  1. And when Avram was ninety years old and nine, Yahuah appeared to Avram, and said unto him, I am El Shaddai (the Almighty Elohiym); walk before Me, and be thou perfect.
  2. And I will make My covenant between Me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.
  3. And Avram fell on his face: and Elohiym talked with him, saying,
  4. As for Me, behold, My covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.
  5. Neither shall אֶת thy name any more be called Avram, but thy name shall be Avraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.
  6. And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.
  7. And I will establish אֶת My covenant between Me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a Elohiym unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.
  8. And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, אֵ֣ת the land wherein thou art a stranger, אֵ֚ת all the land of Kena’an, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their Elohiym.
  9. And Elohiym said unto Avraham, Thou shalt guard אֶת My covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.
  10. This is My covenant, which ye shall guard, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.
  11. And ye shall circumcise אֶת the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you.
  12. And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed.
  13. He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and My covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.
  14. And the uncircumcised man child whose אֶת flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken אֶת My covenant.
  15. And Elohiym said unto Avraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call אֶת her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be.
  16. And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her.
  17. Then Avraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear?
  18. And Avraham said unto Elohiym, O that Yishma’el might live before thee!
  19. And Elohiym said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call אֶת his name Yitschaq: and I will establish אֶת My covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.
  20. And as for Yishma’el, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.
  21. But My covenant will I establish with Yitschaq, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.
  22. And He left off talking with him, and Elohiym went up from Avraham.
  23. And Avraham took אֶת Yishma’el his son, and all that were born in his house, and all that were bought with his money, every male among the men of Avraham’s house; and circumcised אֶת the flesh of their foreskin in the selfsame day, as Elohiym had said unto him.
  24. And Avraham was ninety years old and nine, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.
  25. And Yishma’el his son was thirteen years old, when he was circumcised אֶת in the flesh of his foreskin.
  26. In the selfsame day was Avraham circumcised, and Yishma’el his son.
  27. And all the men of his house, born in the house, and bought with money of the stranger, were circumcised with him.

Haftarah Parashat Lekh Lekha (לך־לך) — “Go Forth”

Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) 40:27–41:16 &
Tehilliym (Psalms) 110

Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) 40:27–31

  1. Why sayest thou, O Ya`aqov, and speakest, O Yashar’el: My way is hid from Yahuah, and my judgment is passed over from my Elohiym?
  2. Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting Elohiym, Yahuah, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of His understanding.
  3. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might He increaseth strength.
  4. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
  5. But they that wait upon Yahuah shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) 41:1–16

  1. Keep silence before Me, O islands; and let the people renew their strength: let them come near; then let them speak: let us come near together to judgment.
  2. Who raised up the righteous man from the east, called him to His foot, gave the nations before him, and made him rule over kings? He gave them as the dust to his sword, and as driven stubble to his bow.
  3. He pursued them, and passed safely; even by the way that he had not gone with his feet.
  4. Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I Yahuah, the first, and with the last; I am He.
  5. The isles saw it, and feared; the ends of the earth were afraid, drew near, and came.
  6. They helped every one his neighbour; and every one said to his brother, Be of good courage.
  7. So the carpenter encouraged the goldsmith, and he that smootheth with the hammer him that smote the anvil, saying: It is ready for the sodering: and he fastened it with nails, that it should not be moved.
  8. But thou, Yashar’el, art My servant, Ya`aqov whom I have chosen, the seed of Avraham My friend.
  9. Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee: Thou art My servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away.
  10. Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy Elohiym: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of My righteousness.
  11. Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.
  12. Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.
  13. For I Yahuah thy Elohiym will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
  14. Fear not, thou worm Ya`aqov, and ye men of Yashar’el; I will help thee, saith Yahuah, and thy Redeemer, the Set Apart One of Yashar’el.
  15. Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff.
  16. Thou shalt fan them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them: and thou shalt rejoice in Yahuah, and shalt glory in the Set Apart One of Yashar’el.

Tehilliym (Psalms) 110

  1. Yahuah said unto my Adonai, Sit Thou at My right hand, until I make Thine enemies Thy footstool.
  2. Yahuah shall send the rod of Thy strength out of Tsion: rule Thou in the midst of Thine enemies.
  3. Thy people shall be willing in the day of Thy power, in the beauties of set-apartness from the womb of the morning: Thou hast the dew of Thy youth.
  4. Yahuah hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Malkiy-Tsedeq .
  5. Yahuah at Thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of His wrath.
  6. He shall judge among the heathen, He shall fill the places with the dead bodies; He shall wound the heads over many countries.
  7. He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall He lift up the head.

Brit Ha’Dasha Parashat Lekh Lekha (לך־לך) — “Go Forth”

Ma’asiym (Acts) 7:1–8; Romaiym (Romans) 4:1–25; Galatiym (Galatians) 3:15–29; Ivriym (Hebrews) 7:1–19

Ma’asiym (Acts) 7:1–8

  1. Then said the high priest: Are these things so?
  2. And he said: Men, brethren, and fathers, hearken; The Elohiym of glory appeared unto our father Avraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charan,
  3. And said unto him: Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and come into the land which I shall shew thee.
  4. Then came he out of the land of the Kasdiym, and dwelt in Charan: and from thence, when his father was dead, He removed him into this land, wherein ye now dwell.
  5. And He gave him none inheritance in it, no, not so much as to set his foot on: yet He promised that He would give it to him for a possession, and to his seed after him, when as yet he had no child.
  6. And Elohiym spake on this wise: That his seed should sojourn in a strange land; and that they should bring them into bondage, and entreat them evil four hundred years.
  7. And the nation to whom they shall be in bondage will I judge, said Elohiym: and after that shall they come forth, and serve Me in this place.
  8. And He gave him the covenant of circumcision: and so Avraham begat Yitschaq, and circumcised him the eighth day; and Yitschaq begat Yaaqov; and Yaaqov begat the twelve patriarchs.

Romaiym (Romans) 4:1–25

  1. What shall we say then that Avraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found?
  2. For if Avraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before Elohiym.
  3. For what saith the scripture? Avraham believed Elohiym, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
  4. Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.
  5. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on Him that justifieth the wicked, his faith is counted for righteousness.
  6. Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom Elohiym imputeth righteousness without works,
  7. Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.
  8. Blessed is the man to whom Yahuah will not impute sin.
  9. Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Avraham for righteousness.
  10. How was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision.
  11. And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also:
  12. And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Avraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised.
  13. For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Avraham, or to his seed, through the Torah, but through the righteousness of faith.
  14. For if they which are of the Torah be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect:
  15. Because the Torah worketh wrath: for where no Torah is, there is no transgression.
  16. Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the Torah, but to that also which is of the faith of Avraham; who is the father of us all,
  17. (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before Him whom he believed, even Elohiym, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
  18. Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken: So shall thy seed be.
  19. And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb:
  20. He staggered not at the promise of Elohiym through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to Elohiym;
  21. And being fully persuaded that, what He had promised, He was able also to perform.
  22. And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
  23. Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;
  24. But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on Him that raised up Yahusha our Master from the dead;
  25. Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

Galatiym (Galatians) 3:15–29

  1. Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man’s covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto.
  2. Now to Avraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Mashiach.
  3. And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of Elohiym in Mashiach, the Torah, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.
  4. For if the inheritance be of the Torah, it is no more of promise: but Elohiym gave it to Avraham by promise.
  5. Wherefore then serveth the Torah? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.
  6. Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but Elohiym is one.
  7. Is the Torah then against the promises of Elohiym? Elohiym forbid: for if there had been a Torah given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the Torah.
  8. But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Yahusha Ha’Mashiach might be given to them that believe.
  9. But before faith came, we were kept under the Torah, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
  10. Wherefore the Torah was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Mashiach, that we might be justified by faith.
  11. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
  12. For ye are all the children of Elohiym by faith in Mashiach Yahusha.
  13. For as many of you as have been baptized into Mashiach have put on Mashiach.
  14. There is neither Yahudiy nor Yavaniy, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Mashiach Yahusha.
  15. And if ye be Mashiach’s, then are ye Avraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Ivriym (Hebrews) 7:1–19

  1. For this Malkiy-Tsedeq, king of Shalem, priest of El Elyon, who met Avraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;
  2. To whom also Avraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Shalem, which is, King of peace;
  3. Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of Elohiym; abideth a priest continually.
  4. Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Avraham gave the tenth of the spoils.
  5. And verily they that are of the sons of Leviyiy, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the Torah, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Avraham:
  6. But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Avraham, and blessed him that had the promises.
  7. And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better.
  8. And here men that die receive tithes; but there He receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that He liveth.
  9. And as I may so say, Leviyiy also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Avraham.
  10. For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Malkiy-Tsedeq met him.
  11. If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the Torah,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Malkiy-Tsedeq, and not be called after the order of Aharon?
  12. For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the Torah.
  13. For He of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.
  14. For it is evident that our Master sprang out of Yahudah; of which tribe Mosheh spake nothing concerning priesthood.
  15. And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Malkiy-Tsedeq there ariseth another priest,
  16. Who is made, not after the Torah of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.
  17. For He testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Malkiy-Tsedeq.
  18. For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.
  19. For the Torah made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto Elohiym.
