April 12th thru April 18th, 2026

Bere’shiyth (Genesis) 18:1 thru 22:24

Bere’shiyth (Genesis) 18

  1. And Yahuah Appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day;
  2. And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,
  3. And said, My Adonai, if now I have found favour in Thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from Thy servant:
  4. Let a little water, I pray You, be fetched, and wash Your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree:
  5. And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said.
  6. And Avraham hastened into the tent unto El-Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth.
  7. And Avraham ran unto the herd, and fetcht a calf tender and good, and gave it unto a young man; and he hasted to dress it.
  8. And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat.
  9. And they said unto him, Where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent.
  10. And He said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him.
  11. Now Avraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women.
  12. Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my adoniy being old also?
  13. And Yahuah said unto Avraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old?
  14. Is any thing too hard for Yahuah? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.
  15. Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was afraid. And He said, Nay; but thou didst laugh.
  16. And the men rose up from thence, and looked toward Sedom: and Avraham went with them to bring them on the way.
  17. And Yahuah said, Shall I hide from Avraham that thing which I do;
  18. Seeing that Avraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?
  19. For I know him, that he will command אֶת his children and his household after him, and they shall guard the Way of Yahuah, to do justice and judgment; that Yahuah may bring upon Avraham that which He hath spoken of him.
  20. And Yahuah said, Because the cry of Sedom and Amorah is great, and because their sin is very grievous;
  21. I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto Me; and if not, I will know.
  22. And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sedom: but Avraham stood yet before Yahuah.
  23. And Avraham drew near, and said, Wilt Thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?
  24. Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt Thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein?
  25. That be far from Thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from Thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?
  26. And Yahuah said, If I find in Sedom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.
  27. And Avraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto Adonai , which am but dust and ashes:
  28. Peradventure there shall lack five of the fifty righteous: wilt Thou destroy אֶת all the city for lack of five? And He said, If I find there forty and five, I will not destroy it.
  29. And he spake unto Him yet again, and said, Peradventure there shall be forty found there. And He said, I will not do it for forty’s sake.
  30. And he said unto Him, Oh let not Adonai be angry, and I will speak: Peradventure there shall thirty be found there. And He said, I will not do it, if I find thirty there.
  31. And he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto Yahuah: Peradventure there shall be twenty found there. And He said, I will not destroy it for twenty’s sake.
  32. And he said, Oh let not Adonai be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And He said, I will not destroy it for ten’s sake.
  33. And Yahuah went His way, as soon as he had left communing with Avraham: and Avraham returned unto his place.

Bere’shiyth (Genesis) 19

  1. And there came two angels to Sedom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sedom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;
  2. And he said, Behold now, my adoniym, turn in, I pray you, into your servant’s house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.
  3. And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake matstsah (unleavened bread), and they did eat.
  4. But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sedom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:
  5. And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.
  6. And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him,
  7. And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.
  8. Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof.
  9. And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.
  10. But the men put forth their hand, and pulled אֶת Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door.
  11. And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door.
  12. And the men said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides? son in law, and thy sons, and thy daughters, and whatsoever thou hast in the city, bring them out of this place:
  13. For we will destroy אֶת this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of Yahuah; and Yahuah hath sent us to destroy it.
  14. And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for Yahuah will destroy אֶת this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law.
  15. And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take אֶת thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city.
  16. And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; Yahuah being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.
  17. And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.
  18. And Lot said unto them, Oh, not so, my Adonai:
  19. Behold now, thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hast shewed unto me in saving אֶת my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me, and I die:
  20. Behold now, this city is near to flee unto, and it is a little one: Oh, let me escape thither, (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live.
  21. And he said unto him, See, I have accepted thee concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow אֶת this city, for the which thou hast spoken.
  22. Haste thee, escape thither; for I cannot do anything till thou be come thither. Therefore the name of the city was called Tso’ar.
  23. The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Tso’ar.
  24. Then Yahuah rained upon Sedom and upon Amorah brimstone and fire from Yahuah out of heaven;
  25. And He overthrew אֶת those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.
  26. But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.
  27. And Avraham gat up early in the morning to the place where he stood אֶת before Yahuah:
  28. And he looked toward Sedom and Amorah, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace.
  29. And it came to pass, when Elohiym destroyed אֶת the cities of the plain, that Elohiym remembered אֶת Avraham, and sent אֶת Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when He overthrew אֶת the cities in the which Lot dwelt.
  30. And Lot went up out of Tso’ar, and dwelt in the mountain, and his two daughters with him; for he feared to dwell in Tso’ar: and he dwelt in a cave, he and his two daughters.
  31. And the firstborn said unto the younger, Our father is old, and there is not a man in the earth to come in unto us after the manner of all the earth:
  32. Come, let us make אֶת our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.
  33. And they made אֶת their father drink wine that night: and the firstborn went in, and lay with her father; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose.
  34. And it came to pass on the morrow, that the firstborn said unto the younger, Behold, I lay yesternight with my father: let us make him drink wine this night also; and go thou in, and lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.
  35. And they made אֶת their father drink wine that night also: and the younger arose, and lay with him; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose.
  36. Thus were both the daughters of Lot with child by their father.
  37. And the first born bare a son, and called his name Mo’av: the same is the father of the Mo’aviym unto this day.
  38. And the younger, she also bare a son, and called his name Ben-Ammiy: the same is the father of the children of Ammon unto this day.

Bere’shiyth (Genesis) 20

  1. And Avraham journeyed from thence toward the country of the Negev, and dwelled between Qadesh and Shur, and sojourned in Gerar.
  2. And Avraham said of El-Sarah his wife, She is my sister: and Aviymelek king of Gerar sent, and took אֶת Sarah.
  3. But Elohiym came to Aviymelek in a dream by night, and said to him, Behold, thou art but a dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken; for she is a man’s wife.
  4. But Aviymelek had not come near her: and he said, Adonai, wilt Thou slay also a righteous nation?
  5. Said he not unto me, She is my sister? and she, even she herself said, He is my brother: in the integrity of my heart and innocency of my hands have I done this.
  6. And Elohiym said unto him in a dream, Yea, I know that thou didst this in the integrity of thy heart; for I also withheld thee from sinning against Me: therefore suffered I thee not to touch her.
  7. Now therefore restore the man his wife; for he is a prophet, and he shall pray for thee, and thou shalt live: and if thou restore her not, know thou that thou shalt surely die, thou, and all that are thine.
  8. Therefore Aviymelek rose early in the morning, and called all his servants, and told אֶת all these things in their ears: and the men were sore afraid.
  9. Then Aviymelek called Avraham, and said unto him, What hast thou done unto us? and what have I offended thee, that thou hast brought on me and on my kingdom a great sin? thou hast done deeds unto me that ought not to be done.
  10. And Aviymelek said unto Avraham, What sawest thou, that thou hast done אֶת this thing?
  11. And Avraham said, Because I thought, Surely the fear of Elohiym is not in this place; and they will slay me for my wife’s sake.
  12. And yet indeed she is my sister; she is the daughter of my father, but not the daughter of my mother; and she became my wife.
  13. And it came to pass, when Elohiym caused me to wander from my father’s house, that I said unto her, This is thy kindness which thou shalt shew unto me; at every place whither we shall come, say of me, He is my brother.
  14. And Aviymelek took sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and womenservants, and gave them unto Avraham, and restored him אֶת Sarah his wife.
  15. And Aviymelek said, Behold, my land is before thee: dwell where it pleaseth thee.
  16. And unto Sarah he said, Behold, I have given thy brother a thousand pieces of silver: behold, he is to thee a covering of the eyes, unto all that are with thee, and with all other: thus she was reproved.
  17. So Avraham prayed unto Elohiym: and Elohiym healed אֶת Aviymelek, and his wife, and his maidservants; and they bare children.
  18. For Yahuah had fast closed up all the wombs of the house of Aviymelek, because of Sarah Avraham’s wife.

Bere’shiyth (Genesis) 21

  1. And Yahuah visited אֶת Sarah as He had said, and Yahuah did unto Sarah as He had spoken.
  2. For Sarah conceived, and bare Avraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which Elohiym had spoken to him.
  3. And Avraham called אֶת the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Yitschaq.
  4. And Avraham circumcised his son Yitschaq being eight days old, as Elohiym had commanded him.
  5. And Avraham was an hundred years old, when אֶת his son Yitschaq was born unto him.
  6. And Sarah said, Elohiym hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me.
  7. And she said, Who would have said unto Avraham, that Sarah should have given children suck? for I have born him a son in his old age.
  8. And the child grew, and was weaned: and Avraham made a great feast the same day that אֶת Yitschaq was weaned.
  9. And Sarah saw אֶת the son of Ha’ger the Mitsriym, which she had born unto Avraham, mocking.
  10. Wherefore she said unto Avraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Yitschaq.
  11. And the thing was very grievous in Avraham’s sight because of his son.
  12. And Elohiym said unto Avraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Yitschaq shall thy seed be called.
  13. And also אֶת of the son of the bondwoman will I make a nation, because he is thy seed.
  14. And Avraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread, and a bottle of water, and gave it unto Ha’ger, putting it on her shoulder, and the child, and sent her away: and she departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Be’er Sheva.
  15. And the water was spent in the bottle, and she cast אֶת the child under one of the shrubs.
  16. And she went, and sat her down over against him a good way off, as it were a bow shot: for she said, Let me not see the death of the child. And she sat over against him, and lift up אֶת her voice, and wept.
  17. And Elohiym heard אֶת the voice of the lad; and the Angel of Elohiym called to Ha’ger out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Ha’ger? fear not; for Elohiym hath heard the voice of the lad where he is.
  18. Arise, lift up אֶת the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation.
  19. And Elohiym opened אֶת her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink.
  20. And Elohiym was with the lad; and he grew, and dwelt in the wilderness, and became an archer.
  21. And he dwelt in the wilderness of Pa’ran: and his mother took him a wife out of the land of Mitsrayim.
  22. And it came to pass at that time, that Aviymelek and Piykol the chief captain of his host spake unto Avraham, saying, Elohiym is with thee in all that thou doest:
  23. Now therefore swear unto me here by Elohiym that thou wilt not deal falsely with me, nor with my son, nor with my son’s son: but according to the kindness that I have done unto thee, thou shalt do unto me, and to the land wherein thou hast sojourned.
  24. And Avraham said, I will swear.
  25. And Avraham reproved אֶת Aviymelek because of a well of water, which Aviymelek’s servants had violently taken away.
  26. And Aviymelek said, I wot not who hath done אֶת this thing; neither didst thou tell me, neither yet heard I of it, but to day.
  27. And Avraham took sheep and oxen, and gave them unto Aviymelek; and both of them made a covenant.
  28. And Avraham set אֶת seven ewe lambs of the flock by themselves.
  29. And Aviymelek said unto Avraham, What mean these seven ewe lambs which thou hast set by themselves?
  30. And he said, For these seven ewe lambs shalt thou take of my hand, that they may be a witness unto me, that I have digged אֶת this well.
  31. Wherefore he called that place Be’er Sheva; because there they sware both of them.
  32. Thus they made a covenant at Be’er Sheva: then Aviymelek rose up, and Piykol the chief captain of his host, and they returned into the land of the Pelishtiym.
  33. And Avraham planted a grove in Be’er Sheva, and called there on the name of Yahuah, El Olam (the everlasting Elohiym).
  34. And Avraham sojourned in the Pelishtiym land many days.

Bere’shiyth (Genesis) 22

  1. And it came to pass after these things, that Elohiym did try אֶת Avraham, and said unto him, Avraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.
  2. And He said, Take now אֶת thy son, אֶת thine only son אֶת Yitschaq, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriyah; and offer him there for an ascending smoke offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.
  3. And Avraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled אֶת his ass, and took אֶת two of his young men with him, and Yitschaq his son, and clave the wood for the ascending smoke offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which Elohiym had told him.
  4. Then on the third day Avraham lifted up אֶת his eyes, and saw אֶת the place afar off.
  5. And Avraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you.
  6. And Avraham took אֶת the wood of the ascending smoke offering, and laid it upon Yitschaq his son; and he took אֶת the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together.
  7. And Yitschaq spake unto Avraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for an ascending smoke offering?
  8. And Avraham said, My son, Elohiym will provide himself a lamb for an ascending smoke offering: so they went both of them together.
  9. And they came to the place which Elohiym had told him of; and Avraham built אֶת an altar there, and laid the wood in order, אֶת and bound אֶת Yitschaq his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.
  10. And Avraham stretched forth אֶת his hand, and took אֶת the knife to slay אֶת his son.
  11. And the Angel of Yahuah called unto him out of heaven, and said, Avraham, Avraham: and he said, Here am I.
  12. And He said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest Elohiym, seeing thou hast not withheld אֶת thy son, אֶת thine only son from Me.
  13. And Avraham lifted up אֶת his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Avraham went and took אֶת the ram, and offered him up for an ascending smoke offering in the stead of his son.
  14. And Avraham called the name of that place Yahuah Yireh (Jehovah Jireh): as it is said to this day, In the Mount of Yahuah it shall be seen.
  15. And the Angel of Yahuah called unto El-Avraham out of heaven the second time,
  16. And said, By Myself have I sworn, saith Yahuah, for because thou hast done אֶת this thing, and hast not withheld אֶת thy son, אֶת thine only son:
  17. That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply אֶת thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the אֶת gate of his enemies;
  18. And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
  19. So Avraham returned unto his young men, and they rose up and went together to Be’er Sheva; and Avraham dwelt at Be’er Sheva.
  20. And it came to pass after these things, that it was told Avraham, saying, Behold, Milkah, she hath also born children unto thy brother Nachor;
  21. אֶת  Huz his firstborn, and Buz his brother, and Qemu’el the father of Aram,
  22. And Kesed, and Chazo, and Pildash, and Yidlaph, and Bethu’el.
  23. And Bethu’el begat אֶת Rivqah: these eight Milkah did bear to Nachor, Avraham’s brother.
  24. And his concubine, whose name was Re’umah, she bare also אֶת Tevah, and Gaham, and Thahash, and Ma’akah.

Haftarah Parashat Vayera Yahuah (וַיֵּרָא יְהוָ֔ה) — “And Yahuah Appeared”
Shofetiym (Judges) 13:2-24

Shofetiym (Judges) 13:2-24

  1. And there was a certain man of Tsor’ah, of the family of the Daniym, whose name was Manoach; and his wife was barren, and bare not.
  2. And the Angel of Yahuah appeared unto the woman, and said unto her, Behold now, thou art barren, and bearest not: but thou shalt conceive, and bear a son.
  3. Now therefore beware, I pray thee, and drink not wine nor strong drink, and eat not any unclean thing:
  4. For, lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head: for the child shall be a Natsiyr unto Elohiym from the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Yashar’el out of the hand of the Pelishtiym.
  5. Then the woman came and told her husband, saying, A Man of Elohiym came unto me, and His countenance was like the countenance of the Angel of Elohiym, very terrible: but I asked Him not whence He was, neither told He me His name:
  6. But He said unto me, Behold, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and now drink no wine nor strong drink, neither eat any unclean thing: for the child shall be a Natsiyr to Elohiym from the womb to the day of his death.
  7. Then Manoach intreated El-Yahuah, and said, O Adonai, let the Man of Elohiym which Thou didst send come again unto us, and teach us what we shall do unto the child that shall be born.
  8. And Elohiym hearkened to the voice of Manoach; and the Angel of Elohiym came again unto the woman as she sat in the field: but Manoach her husband was not with her.
  9. And the woman made haste, and ran, and shewed her husband, and said unto him, Behold, the Man hath appeared unto me, that came unto me the other day.
  10. And Manoach arose, and went after his wife, and came to the Man, and said unto Him, Art thou the Man that spakest unto the woman? And He said, I am.
  11. And Manoach said, Now let Thy words come to pass. How shall we order the child, and how shall we do unto him?
  12. And the Angel of Yahuah said unto Manoach, Of all that I said unto the woman let her beware.
  13. She may not eat of any thing that cometh of the vine, neither let her drink wine or strong drink, nor eat any unclean thing: all that I commanded her let her observe.
  14. And Manoach said unto the Angel of Yahuah, I pray Thee, let us detain Thee, until we shall have made ready a kid for Thee.
  15. And the Angel of Yahuah said unto Manoach, Though Thou detain me, I will not eat of thy bread: and if thou wilt offer an ascending smoke offering, thou must offer it unto Yahuah. For Manoach knew not that He was the Angel of Yahuah.
  16. And Manoach said unto the Angel of Yahuah, What is Thy name, that when Thy sayings come to pass we may do Thee honour?
  17. And the Angel of Yahuah said unto him, Why askest thou thus after My name, seeing it is secret?
  18. So Manoach took a kid with a meat offering, and offered it upon a rock unto Yahuah: and the Angel did wonderously; and Manoach and his wife looked on.
  19. For it came to pass, when the flame went up toward heaven from off the altar, that the Angel of Yahuah ascended in the flame of the altar. And Manoach and his wife looked on it, and fell on their faces to the ground.
  20. But the Angel of Yahuah did no more appear to Manoach and to his wife. Then Manoach knew that He was the Angel of Yahuah.
  21. And Manoach said unto his wife, We shall surely die, because we have seen Elohiym.
  22. But his wife said unto him, If Yahuah were pleased to kill us, He would not have received an ascending smoke offering and a meat offering at our hands, neither would He have shewed us all these things, nor would as at this time have told us such things as these.
  23. And the woman bare a son, and called his name Shimshon: and the child grew, and Yahuah blessed him.
  24. And Ruach Yahuah began to move him at times in the camp of Dan between Tsor’ah and Eshta’ol.

Brit Ha’Dasha Parashat Vayera Yahuah (וַיֵּרָא יְהוָ֔ה) — “And Yahuah Appeared

Ivriym (Hebrews) 11:11–19 & 2nd Kepha (Peter) 2:4-11

Ivriym (Hebrews) 11:11–19

  1. Through faith also Sarah herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.
  2. Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.
  3. These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and sojourners on the earth.
  4. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.
  5. And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.
  6. But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore Elohiym is not ashamed to be called their Elohiym: for He hath prepared for them a city.
  7. By faith Avraham, when he was tried, offered up Yitschaq: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,
  8. Of whom it was said, That in Yitschaq shall thy seed be called:
  9. Accounting that Elohiym was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.

2nd Kepha (Peter) 2:4-11

  1. For if Elohiym spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
  2. And spared not the old world, but saved Nocah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the unrighteous;
  3. And turning the cities of Sedom and Amorha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live unrighteous;
  4. And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
  5. (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)
  6. Yahuah knoweth how to deliver the righteous out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
  7. But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.
  8. Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before Yahuah.
