Festivals Celebrating Death and the Occult Around the World
The Beginning of the Pagan Fall and Winter Holidays
2nd-Day Bul (Month 8) 4th
Friday October 24th, 2025
Greetings in the name of Father Yahuah and His Son Yahusha Ha’Mashiach! I hope this quick post finds you in the grace and peace of Father Yahuah and walking in the way with Mashiach Yahusha!
As we have just concluded the Feast of Yahuah for this year, the world is getting geared up to celebrate it’s feasts and holidays to honour everything under the sun, including the sun, but not Father Yahuah and His Son Yahusha Ha’Mashiach. Many think they are honouring God and Jesus by celebrating these pagan holidays, and maybe they are honouring them, but they are not honouring Father Yahuah and His Son, the true Saviour of the world, Yahusha Ha’Mashiach.
Yahuah tells Yashar’el from the beginning when He is bringing them into the promised:
Devariym (Deuteronomy) 18:9 – “When thou art come into the land which Yahuah Elohayka giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.“
The world has been getting ready for this “holiday season” since the beginning of October as you have seen from the halloween decorations that were up. Do you think that this is a coincidence that it happens around the time of the end of Yahuah’s Feasts for the year? I don’t think so, the enemy has been doing this same thing for at least six thousand years that we know of.
The Feast of Yahuah celebrate His fellowship with mankind and everything He has done to allow that fellowship to continue…from the first feast day of the Shabbath to the last great day of the Feast of Sukkoth, His feast days are to celebrate His love and sacrifice He made with His flesh and blood to give us eternal life to Feast with Him for eternity.
The secular holiday season that is coming up starts with days dedicated to worshipping the dead, celebrating magical abominations and it begins the countdown to the celebration of the rebirth of the sun elohiym on December 25th:
Vayiqra (Leviticus) 19:31 – “Regard not them that have familiar ruach, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am Yahuah Elohaykem.“
Devariym (Deuteronomy) 18:10-12 – “There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar ruach, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto Yahuah: and because of these abominations Yahuah Elohayka doth drive them out from before thee.”
Devariym (Deuteronomy) 17:10-12 – “If there be found among you, within any of thy gates which Yahuah Elohayka giveth thee, man or woman, that hath wrought wickedness in the sight of Yahuah Elohayka, in transgressing His covenant, and hath gone and served other elohiym, and worshipped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven, which I have not commanded;“
This blog will not get into the details of the holidays themselves but just give a brief overview of why they are not in alignment with Father Yahuah.
There is plenty of information out there for you to do your own research and let Ruach Yahuah Elohiym lead and guide you.
Halloween – All Hallows Eve – October 31st
Halloween is the eve of all hallows day which is a day to honour and pray to the saints who have died and this is necromancing which is basically praying to the dead to get their guidance or favor. The dressing up as evil or fictional characters to disguise who we are is not what Yahuah wants us to do either, He wants us to be honest and upfront with each other and not a magician, sorcerer, wizard or witch.
Other holidays to celebrate the dead are Samhain, Dia de los Muertos, Zaduski and Kekri to name a few.
Conclusion
All of these holidays are meant to worship, honour or appease the dead and Yahuah strictly forbids this. Yahuah is the Elohiym of life and these days celebrate the opposite of the life Yahuah wants us to have.
It is difficult if you are just coming into this realization and it can be a very lonely season coming up with all of the pagan holidays and celebrations. I pray that Father Yahuah gives you the courage and strength to separate yourself from these celebrations as we continue to go forward through them.
Shalom,
Minister Patrick
