The Celebration of the Birth of a Nation

3rd Day, Month 4, 4th
Tuesday July 1st, 2025

Greetings in the name of Father Yahuah and His Son Yahusha Ha’Mashiach! I hope this quick blog finds you starting your week off in the blessings of Father Yahuah!

People are getting geared up and ready for the upcoming holiday weekend. Some are making a week’s long vacation of it. There will be numerous parties going on all over this nation and the world in the name of celebrating the adoption of the declaration of independence by the thirteen American colonies in 1776. There are a lot of people celebrating this man made holiday of July 4th and they really don’t even know what it is they are celebrating.  So let’s take a quick look at what’s going on just at the surface level of this celebration and then you can go deeper down the rabbit hole if you want.

We see that the only reference to a god is in the clause “Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God”. The first thing that is a big red flag in this reference to god is that it speaks of the laws of nature and not the laws of a god and then it identifies the god as nature’s god and not the Elohiym of Avraham, Yitschaq and Ya’aqov. This is not the way Yahuah is referenced in the scriptures.
The next time a higher power is mentioned it says: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” Their creator isn’t “The Creator Elohiym” and these “rights” have nothing to do with what Yahuah gives His children. Life and liberty only come through Yahusha Ha’Mashiach, the Word made flesh, and only He can bring true joy. This life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness they declare here are a mirage created by the enemy to get us to go a whoring after our own lusts and our evil hearts (Shemoth 34:14-15 ; Vayiqra 17:7).
The only other times a higher being is referenced is in the last paragraph and it references: “appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world” and “with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence”; and these give no description of who this being is. With no Ivriym scriptural references to confirm it as Yahuah Elohai of Avraham, Yitschaq and Ya’aqov, we have no choice but to say this being is an idol elohiym worshiped by the writers of the declaration of independence and subtly pushed on the protestant masses of the time.

I know it is hard to distance yourselves and hopefully your families from the celebrations of these pagan holidays, that only Yahuah truly knows what they are meant to celebrate. There are people in my family that have birthdays on or around July 4th and I do tell them happy birthday (that’s another blog post for a later date) but I try to never accept a “happy such and such” or give a like reply. I try to simply say “I don’t celebrate, thank you though.”

I pray that something has been shared here that will give you a little better understanding of what this day means to the ones who truly celebrate it for what it really is. Stand strong and know that you have been called out to be a set apart person for the glory and honour of Father Yahuah.
