The Gospel According to Marqus 8 (KJV-YS): Part 2

Introduction:

The eighth chapter of the Besorah of Marqus is the halfway point through the book and is considered a pivotal chapter in the gospel of Marqus. It’s location is still in the land of the lost tribes around the Sea of Galilee. The chapter contains many significant events that include Yahusha feeding the four thousand, another battle with the Pharisees, Kepha’s recognition and confession that Yahusha is the Mashiach, Yahusha’s first prediction of His own suffering, death, and resurrection on the cross and His stern warnings of the importance of a person’s soul. The chapter highlights themes of spiritual blindness, the true cost of following Yahusha and being His talmidiym. Yahusha calls His followers to deny themselves, take up their crosses to follow Him and to not be ashamed of Him or of His words or He will be ashamed of them in front of His Father Yahuah.

Marqus 8:22-26 Seeking Sight from Yahusha

“22. And He cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto Him, and besought Him to touch him. 23. And He took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when He had spit on his eyes, and put His hands upon him, He asked him if he saw ought. 24. And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking. 25. After that He put His hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly. 26. And He sent him away to his house, saying, Neither go into the town, nor tell it to any in the town.”

Cross References Verses 22-26:
v22:
“And He cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto Him, and besought Him to touch him.”
Shemoth (Exodus) 4:11
“And Yahuah said unto him, Who hath made man’s mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I Yahuah?”
Devariym (Deuteronomy) 3:16-17 –
“And unto the Reuvenites and unto the Gadites I gave from Gilead even unto the river Arnon half the valley, and the border even unto the river Yabbok, which is the border of the children of Ammon; The plain also, and Yardan, and the coast thereof, from Chinnereth even unto the sea of the plain, even the Salt Sea, under Ashdoth-pisgah eastward.”
Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) 55:6 –
“Seek ye Yahuah while He may be found, call ye upon Him while He is near:”
Reflection:
The blind man was brought by people who cared for him and they sought out Mashiach Yahusha to heal their friend just by touching him. We all have blind people that we care for in our lives, are you bringing them to Yahuah to get healed from their blindness?

v23: And He took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when He had spit on his eyes, and put His hands upon him, He asked him if he saw ought.”
Tehilliym (Psalms) 139:10 –
“Even there shall Thy hand lead me, and Thy right hand shall hold me.”
Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) 41:13-14 –
“For I Yahuah Elohaykem will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. Fear not, thou worm Ya’aqov, and ye men of Yashar’el; I will help thee, saith Yahuah, and Thy Redeemer, the Set-Apart One of Israel.”
Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 31:31-32
“ Behold, the days come, saith Yahuah, that I will cut a new covenant with the house of Yashar’el, and with the house of Yahudah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Mitsrayim; which My covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith Yahuah:”
Chazon (Revelation) 3:17-18
“Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of Me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eye salve, that thou mayest see.”
Reflection:
The Good Shepherd took His sheep and lead him to where He could heal him. The man was obedient and allowed Yahusha to lead him by the hand so that he could regain his sight. We are all blind to certain things in our walk with Father Yahuah and we must rely on Mashiach Yahusha to tenderly lead us by the hand to where we need to be.

v.24: And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking.”
Bere’shiyth (Genesis) 6:4 –
“There were naphaliym (giants) in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of Elohiym came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.”
Bemidbar (Numbers) 13:32-33 –
“And there we saw the nephiliym, the sons of Anak, which come of the naphaliym: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.”
Yahusha (Joshua) 13:11-13 –
“And Gilead, and the border of the Geshurites and Maachathites, and all mount Hermon, and all Bashan unto Salcah; All the kingdom of Og in Bashan, which reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei, who remained of the remnant of the giants: for these did Moses smite, and cast them out. Nevertheless the children of Israel expelled not the Geshurites, nor the Maachathites: but the Geshurites and the Maachathites dwell among the Israelites until this day.”
Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) 25:7 –
“And He will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the veil that is spread over all nations.”
Ivriym (Hebrews) 10:20 –
“By a new and living way, which He hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, His flesh;”
Reflection:
The man was healed and when he looked up he saw men as trees walking! Was this a botched healing by Mashiach that needed to be redone? Why was this verse even recorded? Could it be that this man had been given sight to see the ruachoth (spirits) of the nepheliym that had not been defeated by Yashar’el when they came in to possess the land? Had Yahusha given this man a glimpse of what was behind the veil?

v.25:
After that He put His hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.”
Bere’shiyth (Genesis) 13:14 –
“And Yahuah said unto Avram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:”
Yahusha (Joshua) 5:13-15 –
“And it came to pass, when Yahusha was by Yericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a Man over against him with His sword drawn in His hand: and Yahusha went unto Him, and said unto Him, Art Thou for us, or for our adversaries? And He said, Nay; but as Captain of the Host of Yahuah am I now come. And Yahusha fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto Him, What saith my Adonai unto His servant? And the Captain of Yahuah’s Host said unto Yahusha , Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is set-apart. And Yahusha did so.”
Tehilliym (Psalms) 146:8 –
“Yahuah openeth the eyes of the blind: Yahuah raiseth them that are bowed down: Yahuah loveth the righteous:”
Reflection:
Yahusha placed His hands back on the man and commanded that he look up and he was restored, not just his sight but the complete man was restored, and he saw every man clearly. The man now saw Mashiach Yahusha clearly for Who He was, the Son of Father Yahuah, the Captain of the Host of Yahuah.

v.26: “And He sent him away to his house, saying, Neither go into the town, nor tell it to any in the town.”
1st Melekiym (Kings) 13:9-10 –
“For so was it charged me by the Word of Yahuah, saying, Eat no bread, nor drink water, nor turn again by the same way that thou camest. So he went another way, and returned not by the way that he came to Beth-el.”
Mishlei (Proverbs) 12:23 –
“A prudent man concealeth knowledge: but the heart of fools proclaimeth foolishness.”
Reflection:
The man had been given so much more than just his sight back, he had seen things that others hadn’t seen and was sent to his house charged to not go into town nor to tell anyone in the town. It is a good thing to tell what Yahuah does for us but if He commands us to do a thing, then it is that thing we must do no matter what we may want to do.

Marqus 8: 27-33 – Revelations to His Talmidiym

Insights: Adonai Yahusha continues His journeys around Chinnereth with His talmidiym and He asks them a very important question and they answer Him. He then asks them a more important question to get their answer and Kepha tells Him that He is the Mashiach of Father Yahuah. Mashiach Yahusha then makes them promise to not tell anyone. He then proceeds to teach them of what He must go through. Kepha didn’t want to hear it and Yahusha rebuked him.

“27. And Yahusha went out, and His talmidiym , into the towns of Caesarea Philippi: and by the way He asked His talmidiym , saying unto them, Whom do men say that I am? 28. And they answered, John the Baptist; but some say, Elias; and others, One of the prophets. 29. And He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Kepha answereth and saith unto Him, Thou art Ha’Mashiach. 30. And He charged them that they should tell no man of Him. 31. And He began to teach them, that the Son of A’dam must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again. 32. And He spake that saying openly. And Kepha took Him, and began to rebuke Him. 33. But when He had turned about and looked on His talmidiym , He rebuked Kepha, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of Elohiym, but the things that be of men.

Cross References Verse 27-33:

v.27: “And Yahusha went out, and His talmidiym , into the towns of Caesarea Philippi: and by the way He asked His talmidiym , saying unto them, Whom do men say that I am?”
Yahusha (Joshua) 19:32-33 –
“The sixth lot came out to the children of Naphtaliy, even for the children of Naphtali according to their families. And their coast was from Heleph, from Allon to Zaanannim, and Adami, Nekeb, and Jabneel, unto Lakum; and the outgoings thereof were at Jordan:”
Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) 9:1-2 –
“Nevertheless the dimness shall not be such as was in her vexation, when at the afirst he lightly afflicted the land of Zevulun and the land of Naphtaliy, and afterward did more grievously afflict her by the way of the sea, beyond Yardan, in Galilee of the nations. The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.”
Mattithyahu (Matthew) 4:15-16 –
“The land of Zevulon, and the land of Nephthaliy, by the way of the sea, beyond Yardan, Galilee of the other nations (Gentiles); The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.”
Shemoth (Exodus) 3:13-15
“And Mosheh said unto Elohiym, Behold, when I come unto the children of Yashar’el, and shall say unto them, The Elohiym of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is His name? what shall I say unto them? And Elohiym said unto Mosheh, Ehayah Asher Ehayah (I AM THAT I AM): and He said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Yashar’el, Ehayah (I AM) hath sent me unto you. And Elohiym said moreover unto Mosheh, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Yashar’el, Yahuah Elohai (the Lord God) of your fathers, the Elohiym of Avraham, the Elohiym of Yitschaq, and the Elohiym of Ya’aqov, hath sent me unto you: this is My name for ever, and this is My memorial unto all generations.”
Reflection:
The land of Caesarea Philippi was included in the land of the tribe of Naphtaliy in the division of the land allotments of Yashar’el and due to the whoredom of the house of Yashar’el, darkness had fallen over the land and now the great light had come to bring them out of the shadow of death! Yahusha while leading His talmidiym in the way, He asked them who do the people say He is? The people of Elohiym should always want to know Him and they should also accept Him when He lets them know Who He is.

v.28: “And they answered, Yahuchanon the Baptizer; but some say, Eli’yahu; and others, One of the prophets.”
Mal’akiy (Malachi) 4:5 –
“Behold, I will send you Eli’yahu the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord:”
Yochanon (John) 1:21 –
“And they asked him, What then? Art thou Eli’yahu? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No.”
Reflection:
The talmidiym tell Yahusha who the people think He is because of the prophesies but they hadn’t been chosen to see that Yahusha was actually the Mashiach that had been prophesied since the creation.

v.29: “And He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Kepha answereth and saith unto Him, Thou art Ha’Mashiach.”
Bere’shiyth (Genesis) 3:15 –
“And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her Seed; He shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise His heel.”
Devariym (Deuteronomy) 18:15 –
“Yahuah Elohaykem will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto Him ye shall hearken;”
1st Yochanon (John) 5:1-4 –
“Whosoever believeth that Yahusha is the Mashiach is born of Elohiym: and every one that loveth Him that begat loveth Him also that is begotten of Him. By this we know that we love the children of Elohiym, when we love Elohiym, and guard His commandments. For this is the love of Elohiym, that we keep His commandments: and His commandments are not grievous. For whatsoever is born of Elohiym overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”
1st Kepha (Peter) 2:6-8 –
“Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Zion a Chief Corner Stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. Unto you therefore which believe He is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the Stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, And a Stone of stumbling, and a Rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the Word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.”
Reflection:
Kepha knew exactly who Yahusha was, and that was Ha’Mashiach. He knew He was the anointed One from Father Yahuah.

v.30: “And He charged them that they should tell no man of Him.”
Devariym (Deuteronomy) 29:29 –
“The secret things belong unto Yahuah Elohaynu: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this Torah.”
Tehilliym (Psalms) 119:11 –
“Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against Thee.”
Daniy’el (Daniel) 12:4 –
“But thou, O Daniy’el, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.”
Mattithyahu (Matthew) 9:29 –
“Then touched He their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.”
Reflection: Once again, Yahusha commands that His secret identity remain with those whom He has shared it with.

v31: “And He began to teach them, that the Son of A’dam must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.”
Bemidbar (Numbers) 16:3 –
“And they gathered themselves together against Mosheh and against Aharon, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing dall the assembly are set-apart, every one of them, and Yahuah is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the assembly of Yahuah?”
1st Shemu’el (Sammuel) 9:1-2 –
“Then all the elders of Yashar’el gathered themselves together, and came to Shemu’el unto Ramah, and said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.”
Tehilliym (Psalms) 2:1-3 –
“Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against Yahuah, and against His aanointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.”
Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) 49:7 –
“Thus saith Yahuah, the Redeemer of Yashar’el, and His Set-Apart One, to Him whom man despiseth, to Him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of Yahuah that is faithful, and the Set-Apart One of Yashar’el, and He shall choose thee.”
Reflection:
Yahusha teaches the talmidiym what He must do in order to fulfill the plan of salvation that Father Yahuah has sent Him to accomplish.

v32: “And He spake that saying openly. And Kepha took Him, and began to rebuke Him.”
Amos (Amos) 3:7 – “ Surely Yahuah Elohiym will do nothing, but He revealeth His secret unto His servants the prophets.”
Yochanon (John) 18:20 –
“Yahusha answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Yahudiym always resort; and in secret have I said nothing.”
Tehilliym (Psalms) 95:7-8 –
“For He is our Elohiym; and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand. To day if ye will hear His voice, Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:”
Yochanon (John) 13:6-9 –
“Then cometh He to Shim’on Kepha: and Kepha saith unto Him, Adonai, dost Thou wash my feet? Yahusha answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter. Kepha saith unto Him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Yahusha answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with Me. Shim’on Kepha saith unto Him, Adonai, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head.”
Reflection:
Yahusha always spoke openly to those He was teaching and just a we do sometimes, Kepha didn’t want to hear what He was saying because his pride and hard heart got in the way.

v33: “But when He had turned about and looked on His talmidiym , He rebuked Kepha, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of Elohiym, but the things that be of men.”
Bemidbar (Numbers) 20:12 –“And Yahuah spake unto Mosheh and Aharon, Because ye believed Me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Yashar’el, therefore ye shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.”
Ya’aqov (James) 3:15-16 –
“This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.”
Chazon (Revelation) 3:19-21
“As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with Me in My throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with My Father in His throne.”
Reflection:
Because He loved Kepha, Yahusha rebuked him and explained why he was wrong in his thinking. In our walk with Shepherd Yahusha, we must ask Him to rebuke us so that we can grow and we must also ask Him to chastise us if we need it. We can only grow closer to Master Yahusha if He corrects us from the error of our ways.

Marqus 8: 34-38 – How to Truly Follow Mashiach Yahusha

Insights: Yahusha then begins to teach the people and His talmidiym on what is takes to follow Him, what they will have to do and that this life is not the life we are trying to gain. He teaches that as followers of Him, we must be ready to give this life up for Him and His Besorah.

“34. And when He had called the people unto Him with His talmidiym also, He said unto them, Whosoever will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. 35. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for My sake and the besorah’s (gospel’s), the same shall save it. 36. For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? 37. Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?38. Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of Me and of My words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of A’dam be ashamed, when He cometh in the glory of His Father with the set-apart angels.”

v34:
And when He had called the people unto Him with His talmidiym also, He said unto them, Whosoever will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.”
Shemoth (Exodus) 20:3
“Thou shalt have no other elohiym before Me.”
Devariym (Deuteronomy) 6:5 –
“And thou shalt love אֵ֖ת Yahuah Elohayka thy Elohiym with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.”
1st Kepha (Peter) 4:1-2 –
“Forasmuch then as Mashiach hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of Elohiym.”
Galatiym (Galatians) 2:20 –
“ I am crucified with Mashiach: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Mashiach liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of Elohiym, who loved me, and gave Himself for me.”
Reflection:
The concept of taking up the cross is nothing new. The first commandment in the ten is to have no other elohiym besides Yahuah whom they followed out of Mitsrayim. We are to have no other elohiym means placing our self on the same level as Yahuah and doing what we want to do instead of following Him as our One and Only Elohiym.

v35: “For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for My sake and the Besorah’s (gospel’s), the same shall save it.”
Devariym (Deuteronomy) 13:4 –
“Ye shall walk after Yahuah Elohaykem, and fear Him, and guard His commandments, and obey His voice, and ye shall serve Him, and cleave unto Him.”
1st Shemu’el (Samuel) 15:22-23 –
“And Shemu’el said, Hath Yahuah as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of Yahuah? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the Word of Yahuah, He hath also rejected thee from being king.”
2nd Hayamiym (Chronicles) 36:15-16 –
“And Yahuah Elohai of their fathers sent to them by His messengers, rising up betimes, and sending; because He had compassion on His people, and on His dwelling place: But they mocked the messengers of Elohiym, and despised His words, and misused His prophets, until the wrath of Yahuah arose against His people, till there was no remedy.”
Yochanon (John) 16:2-3 –
“They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth Elohiym service. And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor Me.”
Ma’asiym (Acts) 20:24 –
“But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of Adonai Yahusha, to testify the Besorah of the grace of Elohiym.”
Ivriym (Hebrews) 11:37-38 –
“They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: uthey wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and vin dens and caves of the earth.”
Chazon (Revelation) 6:9-10
“And when He had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the Word of Elohiym, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Yahuah, set-apart and true, dost Thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?”
Reflection:
The stern warning is given that you cannot love this life, do the things that make you worldly successful, and expect to be in the Kingdom of Elohiym. There hasn’t been anyone that has done it yet and you will not be the first. We are called to walk a set-apart life from this world, it’s principles and the pursuit of happiness here. Throughout the world, right now, our brothers and sisters in the faith, who love Father Yahuah and walk in His set-apart way are losing their lives for their faith in Him and His Son Yahusha Ha’Mashiach and it is coming to the US real soon. Will you be one who has a place under the altar of Yahuah?

v36: “ For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?”
Tehilliym (Psalms) 49:17 –
“For when he dieth he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall not descend after him.”
Iyov (Job) 27:8 –
“For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when Elohiym taketh away his soul? ”
Luqas (Luke) 12:19-21 –
“And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But Elohiym said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward Elohiym.”
Ivriym (Hebrews) 11:24-27 –
“By faith Mosheh, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of Elohiym, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of Mashiach greater riches than the treasures in Mitsrayim: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward. By faith he forsook Mitsrayim, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.”
Reflection:
The warning continues and the question is asked, what profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul. A better way to say this is hell is full of souls, actual people, that have lost their souls to HELL!

v37: “Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?”
Tehilliym (Psalms) 49:7-8 –
“None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to Elohiym a ransom for him: (For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceaseth for ever:)”
Iyov (Job) 2:4-6 –
“And Satan answered Yahuah, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life But put forth Thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse Thee to Thy face. And Yahuah said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life.”
Mattithyahu (Matthew) 10:28
“And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear Him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”
1st Kepha (Peter) 1:18-21 –
“Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Mashiach, was of a Lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, Who by Him do believe in Elohiym, that raised Him up from the dead, and gave Him glory; that your faith and hope might be in Elohiym.”
Chazon (Revelations) 11:10 –
“And Elohiym shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”
Reflection:
The rich man would have gladly given everything he had in the world just to be where El’azar was resting with Avraham.

v38: “Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of Me and of My words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of A’dam be ashamed, when He cometh in the glory of His Father with the set-apart angels.”
Tehilliym (Psalms) 25:1-3 –
“Unto Thee, O Yahuah, do I lift up my soul. O my Elohiym, I trust in Thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me. Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.”
Tehilliym (Psalms) 31:1-3 –
“In thee, O Yahuah, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in Thy righteousness. Bow down Thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong Rock, for an house of defence to save me. For Thou art my Rock and my fortress; therefore for Thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me.”
Romayim (Romans) 1:16 –
“For I am not ashamed of the Besorah of Mashiach: for it is the power of Elohiym unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Yahudiym first, and also to the Greek.”
Ya’aqov (James) 4:4 –
“Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with Elohiym? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of Elohiym.”
2nd Timotheus (Timothy) 2:12-13 –
“If we suffer, we shall also reign with Him: if we deny Him, He also will deny us: If we believe not, yet He abideth faithful: He cannot deny Himself.”
Chazon (Revelations) 19:11-15 –
“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns; and He had a name written, that no man knew, but He Himself. And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of Elohiym. And the armies which were in heaven followed Him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of His mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations: and He shall rule them with a rod of iron: and He treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Yahuah Tseva’oth.”
Reflection:
In our everyday walk, we have to let our light shine to the world and let them know that we are servants of Yahuah just like His Son Yahusah Ha’Mashiach. We have to proclaim this with our mouth but our sermons are better preached by the way we walk and not the way we talk. One of the biggest problems non believer’s have is that they say “Christians” are the biggest hypocrites there are! They confess in front of man that they love “Jesus” but their actions say something totally different. We are rapidly approaching the time that “Jesus” lovers are going to not like the true followers of Mashiach Yahusha. They will say we are radical and take the scriptures to literally and that we are blaspheming the work “Jesus” did on the cross by trying to walk in the set-apart way of guarding Torah.
