Introduction of Sin and the Defilement of the Original Sukkahs
The original sukkahs Yahuah had created were designed to be eternal but sin would cause the death of them:
Bere’shiyth (Genesis) 2:16-17 – “And Yahuah Elohiym commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.”
Because of sin, the original dwelling place of Yahuah Elohiym had been defiled causing man to be cast out of the original dwelling place Yahuah had created for them. Now Ruach Elohiym was only able to be with man through the shedding of blood:
Bere’shiyth (Genesis) 3:21 – “Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them.“
A’dam and Chuah ate of the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and defiled the first sukkahs by disobeying Yahuah’s commandment giving rise to the defilement of the temple Yahuah had created for Him to be with man, in turn causing them to be cast out of the paradise Yahuah had created just for them:
Bere’shiyth (Genesis) 3:22-23 – “And Yahuah Elohiym said, Behold, the man is become as one of Us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: Therefore Yahuah Elohiym sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.”
Ruach Yahuah Elohiym continued to dwell with men in the lineage from A’dam to Noach but the majority of the sukkahs increasingly became places of defilement and rebellion against Yahuah Elohiym. They were now dens of wickedness inhabited by fallen entities who themselves had chosen to wander from their original estate and rebel against Yahuah:
Bere’shiyth (Genesis) 6:1-4 – “And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the sons of Elohiym saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. And Yahuah said, My Ruach shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.”
Yahudah (Jude) 1:6 – “And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness junto the judgment of the great day.”
Because of the wickedness of man and the defilement of the sukkahs along with the earth, Yahuah decided to destroy man, the beast and fowl of the earth:
Bere’shiyth (Genesis) 6:7 – “And Yahuah said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.“
Amidst the corruption of all the sukkahs on the face of the earth, one man found grace in the eyes of Yahuah causing Yahuah to make a covenant with him and his sons and that He would never again cut off all flesh by water:
Bere’shiyth (Genesis) 9:8-11 – “And Elohiym spake unto Noach, and to his sons with him, saying, and I, behold, I establish My covenant with you, and with your seed after you; And with every living creature that is with you, of the fowl, of the cattle, and of every beast of the earth with you; from all that go out of the ark, to every beast of the earth. And I will establish My covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.”
Summary of the Defilement of the First Sukkahs
The corruption and defilement of the original sukkahs of A’dam and Chuah led to them being cast out of the garden and set mankind on the path of constantly being separated from Yahuah because of sin. This separation between Yahuah and man could only be overcame by the shedding of blood for the atonement of the sin that we were now destined to continue until everything will be set correct again, as it was in the beginning.
I pray that you are having a blessed Feast of Sukkoth, fellowshipping with Father Yahuah and His Son Yahusha Ha’Mashiach, remembering that they alone are the only ones who can bring us out of the house of bondage and into the promised land!
Shalom,
Minister Morrow
