The End of Sukkahs Made with Hands
Before the second sukkah (first temple) is destroyed in Yerushalayim in Yahudah, the adulterous acts of the house of Yashar’el had caused Yahuah to divorce them and they soon were scattered and were not a nation anymore:
2nd Melekiym (Kings) 17:9-18 – “ And the children of Yashar’el did secretly those things that were not right against Yahuah Elohaykem, and they built them high places in all their cities, from the tower of the watchmen to the fenced city. And they set them up images and groves in every high hill, and under every green tree: And there they burnt incense in all the high places, as did the heathen whom Yahuah carried away before them; and wrought wicked things to provoke Yahuah to anger: For they served idols, whereof Yahuah had said unto them, Ye shall not do this thing. Yet Yahuah testified against Yashar’el, and against Yahudah, by all the prophets, and by all the seers, saying, Turn ye from your evil ways, and keep My commandments and My statutes, according to all the Torah which I commanded your fathers, and which I sent to you by My servants the prophets. Notwithstanding they would not hear, but hardened their necks, like to the neck of their fathers, that did not believe in Yahuah Elohaykem. And they rejected His statutes, and His covenant that He cut with their fathers, and His testimonies which He testified against them; and they followed vanity, and became vain, and went after the heathen that were round about them, concerning whom Yahuah had charged them, that they should not do like them. And they left all the commandments of Yahuah Elohaykem, and made them molten images, even two calves, and made a grove, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served Ba’al. And they caused their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire, and used divination and enchantments, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of Yahuah, to provoke Him to anger. Therefore Yahuah was very angry with Yashar’el, and removed them out of His sight: there was none left but the tribe of Yahudah only. “
Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 3:6-10 – “Yahuah said also unto me in the days of Yo’siyahu the king, Hast thou seen that which backsliding Yashar’el hath done? she is gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there hath played the harlot. And I said after she had done all these things, Turn thou unto Me. But she returned not. And her treacherous sister Yahudah saw it. And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Yashar’el committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Yahudah feared not, but went and played the harlot also. And it came to pass through the lightness of her whoredom, that she defiled the land, and committed adultery with stones and with stocks. And yet for all this her treacherous sister Yahudah hath not turned unto Me with her whole heart, but feignedly, saith Yahuah.”
Mashiach Yahusha foretells that the third sukkah made with hands (second temple) will be utterly destroyed:
Mattithyahu (Matthew) 24:1-2 – “And Yahusha went out, and departed from the temple: and His talmidiym came to Him for to shew Him the buildings of the temple. And Yahusha said unto them, See ye not all these things? Amein I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”
The Perfect Sukkah Without Defilement
Yahuah sent His messenger Yesha’yahu to prophesy the coming of the perfect sukkah, Mashiach Yahusha, who would permanently redeem humanity back to Father Yahuah through His perfect atonement of our sins. Yesha’yahu tells of how the perfect sukkah will bear our iniquities and how it will please Yahuah to bruise Him to grief for our transgressions against Him:
Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) 53:1-11 – “ Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of Yahuah revealed? For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: He hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him. He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from Him; He was despised, and we esteemed Him not. Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of Elohiym, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and Yahuah hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and He was afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth: He is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so He openeth not His mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare His generation? for He was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of My people was He stricken. And He made His grave with the wicked, and with the rich in His death; because He had done no violence, neither was any deceit in His mouth. Yet it pleased Yahuah to bruise Him; He hath put Him to grief: when Thou shalt make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, and the pleasure of Yahuah shall prosper in His hand. He shall see of the travail of His soul, and shall be satisfied: by His knowledge shall My righteous servant justify many; for He shall bear their iniquities.”
An angel tells Miryam that she shall conceive the Son of Elohiym, the true sukkah in the flesh in which Ruach Yahuah can dwell and walk among His people, and that He will reunite all of Yashar’el to reign over the house of Ya’aqov forever:
Luqas (Luke) 18:30-33 – “And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Miryam: for thou hast found favour with Elohiym. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Yahusha. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of El Elyon: and Yahuah Elohiym shall give unto Him the throne of his father Da’vid: And He shall reign over the house of Ya’aqov for ever; and of His kingdom there shall be no end.”
This perfect atonement would eliminate the need for animal sacrifices and the need for a sukkah made with hands to offer the sacrifices that were not part of Yahuah’s original plan:
Husha (Hosea) 6:6 – “For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of Elohiym more than ascending smoke offerings.”
Mattithyahu (Matthew) 9:13 – “But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
Ivriym (Hebrews) 10:5-9 – “Wherefore when He cometh into the world, He saith, Sacrifice and offering Thou wouldest not, but a body hast Thou prepared Me: In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin Thou hast had no pleasure. Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of Me,) to do Thy will, O Elohiym. Above when He said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin Thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; Then said He, Lo, I come to do Thy will, O Elohiym. He taketh away the first, that He may establish the second.”
Mashiach Yahusha reveals that He is the true sukkah:
Yochanon (John) 2:18-21 – “Then answered the Yahudiym and said unto Him, What sign shewest Thou unto us, seeing that Thou doest these things? Yahusha answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. Then said the Yahudiym, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? But He spake of the temple of His body. When therefore He was risen from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Yahusha had said.”
Summary of the End of Sukkahs Made with Hands and the Perfect Sukkah Without Defilement
The two houses of the children of Yashar’el, the house of Yashar’el and the house of Yahudah, continued to disobey Yahuah, break covenant with Him, defile their sukkahs of flesh and the sukkahs they built for Yahuah to dwell in and walk among them so much that Yahuah exiled the house of Yashar’el and the house of Yahudah and destroyed the second sukkah (first temple) Yashar’el had made for Him. The house of Yashar’el’s defilement was so bad that they were divorced from Yahuah and are no longer a people today. The house of Yahudah was exiled and the second sukkah (first temple) destroyed but Yahuah kept covenant with them only because of His promise to Da’vid and He brought them back into the land and allowed them to build another sukkah (second temple) for Him to dwell in.
The third sukkah (second temple) was prophesied by Mashiach Yahusha to be destroyed as He had come to redeem Yashar’el back to Father Yahuah once and for all, through the sukkah of His flesh so we could return to being the set-apart nation of sukkahs and priests to the entire earth the way it was supposed to be.
I pray that you are having a blessed and joyous feast tabernacling with Yahuah.
Have a blessed day and I hope you enjoy this sixth day of the Feast of Sukkoth!!
Shalom,
Minister Morrow
