Hello to all of my brothers, sisters and family in the faith, who love Father Yahuah through obedience by walking in the set-apart way with his Son Yahusha Ha’Mashiach, the Great Shepherd who laid down His life for the redemption and salvation of His sheep. I pray that this short post finds you and your family in the grace, peace and joy of Yahuah during this wicked and evil season we are going through.
Before we get started, I want to say that I know how difficult this season is for most of us as we watch the ones we love participate in these holiday traditions and celebrations of what I call the most evil and wicked holiday of them all, christmas. It is a very lonely time of year for me, physically and emotionally, as all of my family still celebrate these holidays, especially christmas. My ruach isn’t lonely because Father Yahuah and Mashiach Yahusha give me comfort and strength through me separating myself from these days and They provide me with sustenance to make it through and I know They will provide the same for all of those who choose to separate themselves from these celebrations.
As most of you know from my past blogs on pagan holidays, I usually don’t go into too much detail on what these days actually mean, but for christmas I will provide a brief overview of what has been revealed to me and why I call christmas the most wicked and evil pagan holiday there is, even placing it above the outright demonic days of the celebration of death and the dead.
We will look at the holiday of christmas in three parts and show how all of them lead to the worship of fallen beings and outright blatant transgressions of Yahuah’s commandments.
The Name and the Date
So let’s dive into the deep end and get to it. Most of you reading this blog do not call the Son of Elohiym (God) Jesus Christ anymore, instead choosing to use His Hebrew name of Yahusha Ha’Mashiach or some form thereof. The mainstream believers who call themselves followers of Jesus Christ refer to themselves as “Christians” and is where the name christmas comes from Christes Maesse, meaning the Mass of Christ, and was a holiday, most believe instituted by the Romans to convert pagans to Christianity, around the time of emperor Constantine, by calling it a celebration of the birth of Christ. December 25th had long been held as the birthday of the sun elohiym, sol invictus, and was in place well before Constantine and the human birth of the only begotten true Son of Elohiym, Mashiach Yahusha. The 25th of December is also widely believed to be the birth date of many of the elohiym (gods) worshipped throughout the world. The list of these elohiym who were born on December 25th is widely debated but there are records that show that this date is the day of celebration for Roman holidays.
These claims are not something that showed up with the internet, you can go to your local public library and look at encyclopedias dated before the creation of the world wide web (1989), and look up christmas and most will tell you that the date of December 25th was chosen or “was probably influenced by pagan (unchristian) festivals held at the time. The ancient Romans held year-end celebrations to honor Saturn, their harvest god; and Mithras, the god of light.” [The World Book Encyclopedia C-Ch Volume 3 1984]. So you see, this isn’t something drummed up by “internet conspiracy theorist” but something that has been in plain sight form the beginning for anyone who wanted to know and did the research.
Who and What is Actually Being Celebrated?
Before Father Yahuah brought me out of the darkness of celebrating holidays, I used to preach that the world needed to put Christ back in christmas, only to find out later that the One I called Christ was never in christmas. So if Mashiach Yahusha is not in this holiday or being celebrated, then who or what is being celebrated. Well it is easy to see what the world celebrates on this day and it is materialism. More money is spent during the christmas holiday season than any other time of the year and we know that you can’t serve two masters and the money and materialism is what is being worshipped.
Most Christians who celebrate will say otherwise but who do they tell their children brings the gifts and puts them under the tree? Well at the christmas plays I used to go to at church during the christmas eve play, Jolly old saint Nick would come in and we would go sit on his lap and tell him what we wanted him to bring us that night for christmas. According to Webster’s New World Dictionary 1972 Old Nick or Nicholas is the name of a water sprite, goblin: The Devil; Satan. The word saint in front doesn’t change the definition as a saint is just a person who is dedicated to a religious belief. So in church, children are outright lied to and told that a magical saint, not Jesus Christ, brings them these gifts. But it doesn’t stop there, where does the demonic spirit of santa supposedly come from? That’s right the north pole and who desires to be in the north pole?
Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) 14:12-13 – “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of Elohiym: I will sit also upon the mount of the assembly, in the sides of the north:”
So who or what are the people celebrating during the christmas holiday? Most would argue that they don’t do it for this reason that it is all about the spirit of christmas. Okay, so what is this spirit of christmas? Then it goes back to them saying, just like I used to, it is really about Christ, but how is Christ in this?
The Spirit of Christmas
and the Traditions Surrounding the Holiday
In order to understand the spirit of christmas, we need to look at some of the traditions that come with celebrating this holiday. Once again, this is not something that just came with the internet, you can research all of the traditions surrounding christmas and see that they are all meant to appease fallen elohiym and celebrate life and pray for the return of the growing season during winter.
All of the evergreen tree decorations are a form of ancient fallen elohiym worship that the followers of Yahuah are strictly forbidden to participate in, in any way:
Devariym (Deuteronomy) 7:5 – “But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their Asherah groves, and burn their graven images with fire.“
Yahuah commands Mosheh to command the children of Yashar’el to cut down their Asherah groves which were evergreen trees planted to worship Asherah, a female elohiym of the Phoenicians who is the mother of the pantheon of their gods, worshipped for her ability to give life and return life after the winter.
Some will say that this is not what the christmas tree means to them, but yet they bow down in front of it on christmas morning to open the gifts satan clause has left for them?? But they say like I used to say, I do it to worship Jesus and the gift of life he brings. Okay but Yahuah explicitly forbids this five chapters later:
Devariym (Deuteronomy) 12:29-32 – ” When Yahuah Elohayka shall cut off the nations from before thee, whither thou goest to possess them, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their land; Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou inquire not after their elohiym, saying, How did these nations serve their elohiym? even so will I do likewise. Thou shalt not do so unto Yahuah Elohayka: for every abomination to Yahuah, which He hateth, have they done unto their elohiym; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their elohiym. What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.”
Wow!! Yahuah strictly forbids His people from worshipping Him the way the other nations do, we are to do exactly what He commands and not add anything to it or take anything away from it!
No matter how we look at it, we are not to have anything to do with this holiday if we are followers of the True and Living Elohiym, Yahuah Elohayka Tseva’oth through His Son Yahusha Ha’Mashiach, because if we do, we are breaking the first commandment given to the children of Yashar’el when they came out of Mitsrayim:
Shemoth (Exodus) 20:3 – “Thou shalt have no other elohiym before Me.”
The second commandment really goes to the heart of the spirit of christmas:
Shemoth (Exodus) 20:4-5 – “Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I Yahuah Elohayka am a jealous El, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;”
**We can see that the bowing down to the tree and all of the traditions that celebrate the spirit of christmas has nothing to do with Ruach Elohiym or Ruach Mashiach and it is a ruach that is not of Father Yahuah.
We also see that the children of Yashar’el had a big problem with these traditions right before the Babylonian exile when Yirmeyahu warns them:
Yirmeyahu (Jerimiah) 10:1-5 – “Hear ye the word which Yahuah speaketh unto you, O house of Yashar’el: Thus saith Yahuah, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. For the traditions of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.”
**Yashar’el was warned, didn’t obey Yahuah about not making the christmas tree idols and therefore were punished by being exiled from their homeland.
Conclusion
During this short summary of what has been revealed to me, I think it is easy to see why I call this holiday the most evil and wicked. The name and date, who and what are being celebrated, and the spirit of christmas all show us that the true meaning of this holiday isn’t to celebrate the birth of Mashiach Yahusha, but to lead people astray especially the young children, to believing and worshipping the enemy. Through lies and trickery the enemy has the followers of Yahuah and believers of His Son Yahusha Ha’Mashiach worshipping him instead of Them. The enemy that has been waging war against us since A’dam and Chuah were created. We have to remember the he has been doing this for at least six thousand years of Biblical recorded history and he knows many ways to deceive those who try to guard covenant with Father Yahuah into rebellion against Him without even knowing it.
As the world and those we love partake in this holiday, let us pray that Father Yahuah continues to reveal His Truth to them and also to us. Let us be like the apostle Pa’al in his letter to Timotheus:
2nd Timotheus (Timothy) 4:2 – “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.“
Let us be patient and loving towards our brothers and sisters in the faith who are not at the same place in their understanding as we are. Continue to abstain from these holidays but continue to fellowship with them at all other times when the opportunity presents itself. All we can do is plant the seed and Father Yahuah will do all the rest with them just as He is doing with us.
I pray that you all have a blessed rest of your week and remember that Yahuah’s Feast Day of the Shabbath is every week and it will be here soon so we can celebrate His set-apart days!
